Celtic 0 - 4 Leverkusen

We don’t have the quality of players to play the style Ange wants at this level. You have to adapt the style to each team we play.

 

If we hadn't got those two big scoring games our GD in the spl would be 0.

 

I expected 5 or 6 easily and without Hart it would have been. It's such a depressing state of affairs now, but I will take 0-4 against a team 2nd in the Bundesliga.

I will say this in nearly every post in the hope that someone with power in the supporters clubs will finally have enough and try and start a proper protest, but THE BOARD NEED TO GO. This team is going nowhere EVER with these * in the boardroom.

 

Anges tactics are * horrendous, inverted fullbacks against a team with pacey wingbacks, honestly what the * are you thinking???

 

It's grim when you think a team Sherrif went to the Bernabeu this week and beat Real Madrid.

We simply cant afford to pass up chance after chance like that against quality opposition. We handed it to them on a plate.

I hate the board but the only reason you can blame them for this is for hiring Ange!!
He does the tactics and he stuck with the inverted fullbacks for the entire first half! He does know he can change the tactics during the half, right!?

Leverkusen are a really good side. Best we have played this season. Given that and the number of players unavailable I don't think too much can be read into the game tonight.

Sunday is a much more important game than tonight.

 

Good teams have to have a solid defence to begin with, then you can get them to adapt if needed. Then you get a functioning and capable midfield, then you worry about getting the forwards you want. Ange seems to have done it in reverse and we are still suffering and the players looked confused as to their roles and the team has lost their initial spark there before Christie left. Granted Kyogo was the inspiration and Callum also. Without these two in form and playing the team suffers.

 

Utter pish flaps.

 

Starfelt was fine tonight. Massive problem our support has is just blaming a player for current failing based on previous.
