You need to be able to implement your ideal system with the attributes you're players HAVE, not what you wish them to have. Surely to * that's common sense, so why is Ange under the impression we have a back line capable to standing up to the lower half of the SPL never mind Europe's elite. We * don't! He has to get smart I'm done with his idealistic *!
Massive investment needed at the back, pace in the midfeild needed badly too.

 

We qualified for the Champions League two years in a row under Rodgers. That’s miles ahead of where we are now.

 

You can't keep blaming the board!

This tactic THE MANAGER is going with is * suicidal, pure and simple.
It's madness how open we are at the back, watch the build up to that second goal, Montgomery gets dummied from Frimpong, he then gets up and goes to go to left back but then moves to the centre of the midfield, it is shocking how he tries to play our defence.

The board are at fault for the rebuild but they are also at fault for hiring this manager, he is out his depth, way out his depth.

You don't play a tactic that you don't have the players for, you change the tactic as you can't change the players, he can't do that!

Shocking how bad we are at the back!

The inverted fullback stuff isn't working at all. Need to change that. What benefit is it to have Montgomery and Ralston receive it in the middle and Rogoc and Turnbull getting it at the touchline?

Manager's system is absolutely fine. Too many players who don't have the quality or quickness of thought is the issue. Hopefully he realises we need an entirely new midfield. His job depends on it.

 

Yep...I don't understand people when they were creaming themselves getting into the EL in the first place after getting pumped out CL like that.....We never learn.

We were never ready for anything like this after last season and the fall from grace we had.

Whatever happens....Play the * kids/B squad in the rest of these games and at least attempt to keep a proper team for the league and maybe we have a chance,if these tactics are dropped and these embarassing * defenders man up.

Aye but Antonio Conte wouldn't ask a limited footballer like Ralston to drop in to midfield leaving a couple of other limited footballers at CB totally isolated and passing the ball to the opposition.

If he had our team, playing Leverkusen he would have went 4-5-1 and countered them hoping for the best...not let them take the * out us.

Canny see Ange getting the time to get halfway through this rebuild, never mind finish it going by fan reactions the last couple weeks.

 

Got to agree it just isnt working nowhere near enough dig. Against a quality side you have to be combative and let them know they are in a game, thats never going to happen with Rogic or Turnbull.
