Agreed, if miraculously CalMac & Kyogo have somehow got themselves back to any level of reasonable fitness over the last few days then they should have been saved for Sunday, which is a much bigger fixture than tonight.

Montgomery over Scales is a * joke after the way Monty performed the other night, he's weak af, as is Turnbull at CM who has no pace, energy or tackling ability for that role, it should be a straight choice between him and Rogic for the 10 and that's it.

Starfelt still starting is mental too, the lad Welsh has been far more reliable than Starfelt overall.

    Losing faith in Ange rapidly

I'd rather have saved them both for Aberdeen. As in, let them play off the bench tonight if they feel fit. Rogić and Turnbull both- that's unwise.

Absolutely delighted to see Cal and Kyogo back. Like others have said though I hope we aren’t rushing them back for the sake of it. Last thing we need is them breaking down again.

    Intae them Celtic!!!

Can't believe folk are criticising the selection of Montgomery over Scales. We've seen the guy for 15 minutes against a Championship team when the game was well done. Would prefer Bolingoli over both but he's either injured or went awol.

Glad to see them back. Hopefully don't see them hobbling off 20 mins in though.

Why are they being risked in a meaningless game such as this.

If this blows up in our face and any of them pull up, he needs booted.

Was my 1st thought too. If, and it's a big if, they're both fine, then I'm happy. But looks like they've been rushed back.

Would have happily have given GG, Calmac and Kyogo the night off and have them for Sunday. Hope Ange is doing the right thing here and not bowing to pressure.

But pleased to see them nonetheless. COYBIG :shamrock:

    Not 100% sure, but I don’t think Boli’s in the EL squad…

Bolongoli wasn't selected for the EL squad, Monty is too weak to be a LB, he can barely tackle, he's not an aerial presence in the box, his passing is highly suspect, doesn't have a lot of pace, plus he's built like a 12 year old, the thought of Frimpong being up against him tonight is terrifying.

Scales at 23 is a lot more experienced in men's football over Monty, plus he adds a lot more height to the team over Monty too.

Monty over Scales is mental decision making, as is Starfelt over Welsh, as is Turnbull over Soro or Bitton at CM, Turnbull should either be a 10 or benched, too many mental decisions from Ange.

Jesus rushing kyogo and calmac back is going to end in another injury.ffs.should have kept them out till after international break. If kyogo gets an injury i will never forgive these idiots.ffs.
