Jack Hendry

I think it says a lot about our setup that he can go to Belgium and be successful at a club like Brugge in the Champions League.

There's something seriously wrong with the way that we train and develop players. Even now with Duffy, as brutal as he was, I'm starting to question whether it's us and not him.

We need a dedicated defensive coach (or ideally coaches) as an immediate priority.

 

We are a joke of a club now, complete * hour.
My local gaa club has a more professional setup ffs.

 

Big issues at this club for sure, but hendry was * while he was here.

Sour grapes if we are moaning about missing out on big fees or having him in the squad right now.

Bottom line, he played more than 20 games for us and I don't think he for pass marks a single time.

Fair * to the lad for getting his game in check and getting on with his career.

I know we are struggling defensively just now but let’s not rewrite history. Jack Hendry was an utter bombscare for us and not one person was sad to see him go.

Starfelt might not be the answer but neither was Jack Hendry and his Firhill magical mystery tour.

 

I never thought he was as bad as people made out. Didn't think he was a world beater and I'd say most people are still at least a little surprised at how well he's performed so far, however, I really don't remember his performances deserving of the level of criticism he got. Always seems overboard to me nowadays I suppose, folk are impatient as *.

 

I'd imagine it was a straight forward buy clause, which they activated.

Fair * to them as we were never getting anywhere near that money for him.

He's dug *. Couldn't give a * if he turns out once and a while in Belgium. Couldn't do it in the hoops and that's all that matters to me.

 

Just waiting for wee Rodgers to come out now and say “I always saw the talent jack had”

 

Whoever is guiding this lad is a * genius.

How the * he's in any starting 11 playing in the CL against teams like man city is astounding

 

Better than that he was bossing PSG a few weeks ago!! Bit of a hiding tonight but reading a few match reports sounds like Hendry was actually decent and a few of his team mates went into hiding.

Players can improve, just look at Ralston this season for evidence of that.

The deal to get him sold.was a good one on paper for us when we sent him out last season, but he was excellent then and has been good this season by all accounts, he could have been a good one for us but the sale was a good one at the time. Fair doos to the boy though, good on him

Guy is moaning after being dropped after 2 reds in 3 games saying he is Brugge's best defender. Ignoring the fact that Brugge have won every league game since he was dropped and climbed up to 2nd and closing the gap on 1st.
Glad we got shift of him, he's so far up his own *.

 

I think he is a problem child who Celtic did well to get rid of. I'm not saying that he isn't a decent player but the supposed line-up of clubs wanting to sign him never really materialized. Half of what you read is just bullshit put about by agents.

 

That kid's a total drip
