There was absolutely nothing Celtic can do to stop an employee resigning. Rodgers leaving when he did is on him.

Taylor being injured is actually good

How do you work that one out...?

We had to bring back Boli, play Juranovic at LB who subsequently did his hammy.. Montgomery is a project and he seems reluctant to play Scales..

If Scales gets a chance and seizes it, it may be a blessing in disguise..

But, as its stands just now can't see anything good about a player being injured, even one as mediocre as Taylor.

Because Taylor is absolutely rotten, are you suggesting playing Juranovic at LB was the reason for doing his hammy? Both are better at LB than taylor

Aye they could have either suspended the * and stopped him from taking the lester job or they could have tried to insist he continued as the manager here for a couple of months... if you think either of these options was realistic/a good idea that tells me plenty tbh.

It is? I'm not a Taylor fan but he offers much much more than Montgomery, he might be a * option but he's the most solid option we have. I'd give Scales a run but it's what the manager sees at training, us fans can't judge that as we don't see it day in day out.

Who knows with Juranovic, his body would have been in different positions than which is natural..

Taylor is poor, aye but the other options aren't that inspiring either..

Needs to stop playing Juranovic on the left and just give Scales a run.

Waist size would certainly suggest that.

The rewriting of history on Brendan Rodgers is sensational.

Back when he was manager, large portions of the support used to openly say Peter Lawwell was the best CEO in football.

All the while, he was hamstringing Rodgers - and Rodgers told as much, only for the support to ignore it.

I don’t blame him one bit for walking when he did. If the support is stupid enough to fall for Lawwell’s nonsense, why bother staying on?

He waxed lyrical about how much of a die hard Celtic fan he was and how it was his dream job, yet he chose to leave a side chasing a treble hanging in the balance, taking a huge chunk of backroom staff with him, leaving us scrambling to appoint Lennon. He's a good coach but he's always going to be a snake to me.

How anyone can blame Rodgers from bolting from this * show is baffling. Only snakes at our club are in the boardroom. Always have been. Just ask the ex players/staff they have shafted and are still shafting.

Don’t blame Lennon for not resigning. The never say die attitude has made him the career he has. How many managers do you see resigning? I blame the board for not sacking him.
