    @HTG

Julien, Forrest & Kyogo - 'not expected until after this next international break'
Giakoumakis - calf strain. haven't heard beyond that.
Johnston - 'just a niggle', more preventative than anything considering the long lay off he is coming back from.
Taylor - recovering from shoulder surgery from about a week ago now.
CalMac's hamstring - Sunday (DUTD game) was 'just a little too soon, possibly this week' for the EL game
Dembele - 'still a way off'

No idea about Juranovic today, but we really didn't need that to happen and add to the woes.

McCarthy has to be questionable for Thursday now as well after having to come off at half time on Sunday.

The above link is Celtic by numbers, done for Phil Mac. I know what people will be thinking with Phils involvement but it's all data led over 342 games by Alan Morrison, showing fouls against and for Celtic in the league and Europe. Huns figured are involved as well. Interesting read.

Grim reading. Including Taylor, that's 5 first team players. Johnston and Dembele have talent and would provide depth but Dembele is relatively unproven and Johnston can't seem to make that essential breakthrough he needs. Hoping Giakoumakis can make a strong impact when he finally starts making appearances.

If that was our Gk we would go bring on an emergency back up, we should fo the same right now for a strike assuming there's a free agent out there kept himself fit? I doesn't look like any of the development strikers are able to step up or they would've by now, I know Moffet did but hès more of an attacking midfielder isn't he

    Aye… back on the bench…

Hope someone does his laces for him.. can’t risk a calf strain on trivialities.

Am I only the only one starting to think that Ange's training regimen is the cause of these injuries?

Not claiming it as a negative, because hopefully these players will be better for it after Xmas.

Theres also the "soft tissue" claim by Lennon a few years back, he wanted the surfaces at Lennoxtown looked at.

Either way, as it's been for the past few years now, our injury list is completely * shocking.

Seems like we have an injury crisis every season. It's getting beyond a joke that we loose 3 or 4 players and we're fooked. Just shows how thin our quality squad really is. On a positive note that gives the fringe players a chance to show their worth. I'd prefer not against leverkuesen but here we are.

I genuinely don’t believe this is on Ange. I’m not shy to slate him or the team either.

Last 2 seasons we have been getting injuries like never before. Since Rodgers and his team left, we’ve had more injuries than I can ever remember. There’s something up with our sports science team. I read something about that mob in govan using a machine learning method to prevent injury to players, this was pushed by Slippy and his background staff. Every time we play that lot we are at half strength. It’s embarrassing. Somethings up but it has been this way since before Ange.

Huns have backed him to the hilt and he's came from a far more advanced footballing environment. Our backroom staff situation is embarrassing in comparison.

When Rodgers was here, the perspective that we had a stupidly high amount of injuries was a constant. People also questioned if the training given was the issue then.

The injuries under Rodgers were nothing like we’re having now IMO. Few sickeners like our Strikers out for big games but no REAL crisis moments like we’ve had over the last two seasons. Some of this will be terrible luck, but not all.

He had players like Forrest who was a sicknote treated for his constant hamstring injuries, fit and able to play full seasons of football. I have a complete different memory of Rodgers time her in that regard, Rogic is another one from the top of my mind who came in and was really important for us despite his previous lack of fitness.

I think the injury list now is exacerbated by the lack of squad depth, but we definitely had the same narrative surrounding injuries back then, especially the part questioning his training.
