is playing thursday sunday thursday sunday every week causing fitness issues are we still doing regular training if not is that why our players are looking shagged out long before end of games

dont understand how rogic and turnbull and others are looking so tired well before the end of the game and how the pace of our game apart from the 2 teenagers on the wings is non existant

Our lack of squad depth is killing us.

Rogic and Turnbull are starting (and sometimes finishing) every game right now, and they're not the most naturally fit guys anyway.

In terms of pace, I think we just have a slow team. None of our defenders are particularly quick. The midfield is painfully slow. Ajeti can't even break into a jog.

Playing Thursday, Sunday, Thursday, Sunday is NOT causing fitness or stamina issues.

Not having a * fitness department worth its pay packet is causing our fitness and stamina issues.

Take these players to sand dunes and get them running up and down on them and get a bit of stamina in them as the fitness in the squad is terrible .
After a hour there's several players puffing out their * and not acceptable and if Ang was allowed to bring in his own back room staff they would have his own men doing things to improve it and having Kennedy and Strachan still there is not helping things off the park .

Playing every week shouldn’t even be a thing coming into question. Yes players should take a break when physically exhausted and required but if players are taking time out because they can’t be arsed (not saying that is the case) then it’s time to start assessing if they should be here or not then. Having actually trained people and seen what they are capable of stamina wise even though they are not elite athletes, it’s quite ridiculous seeing top athletes complain they are tired because it usually means they are not dieting properly or something else is going on.

Lol i was saying that too.me and my grandson power walked from parkhead at 5 did a kfc pick and still managed to be on time for the 6pm train even though the strike action meant we did a circuit of central station as only the front entrance was open.not bad for a 60 year old. Grandson said we put more effort in than celtic did.HH

Fitness of the team is appalling and has been for sometime. It’s one of three reasons we probably pick up so many injuries.

The others being the lack of protection from referees for shocking challenges just look at Haliday first game of season, the boy who go sent off from Dundee should have gone for his first challenge, In the Hearts cup tie Haring and other off the ball, multiple in the St Mirren game beyond Power who did go, Fuchs at the weekend amongst others.

Lastly we rely on far to small of a core group of first team players. This season has been extreme but we have been like that for seasons where the same guys get flogged and others never utilised or just not good enough.

To play an ultra high pressing system Sunday Thursday Sunday you need to have at least two reliable options for each of the midfield positions and front 3, and full backs. Your keeper and CBs shouldn’t change too much. We have got one left winger in the squad, striker we have been unlucky with injuries but bought an unfit striker and took ages to get the deal over the line, and right wing Forrest has had a * of a time with injuries which is increasingly worrying.

Midfield we have one midfielder who actually fits the system, McGregor and he’s been flogged for seasons and is injured. Then have so many others that are not at it. Turnbull or Rogic could be an option but need two mobile grafters to play with to make up their slack.

    This.

Fitness should be above the manager's head and maintained by a team that is assembled and updated by a DIRECTOR OF FOOTBALL.

It's been well over a year now people have been making this point and if anything we get further from this every day. The effects of this negligence are undeniable now.

Very surprised he didn’t bring someone in with him from day one in regards to fitness at the very least as it’s crucial for his philosophy to work
