Was he injured today to be taken off?

 

The start of this season has been the story of his career in microcosm

 

I think he got kicked about a bit so went off at half time.

Probably not a good sign to be honest.

 

Thats it folks, thats as good-or bad-as he is or will be. He will never improve on what you have seen yesterday first half.
Oh yea, another 4 years of it too.

It was a result of our slack passing as Ralston gave him a hospital ball.

More worrying was his attempted header back to Hart that nearly cost us a goal.

An uninspiring start to his Celtic career, seems like the opposite of what we need.

 

And we can expect him to spend the better part of two of those seasons out injured

He'll be doing well to play a 100 games over the length of his contract

 

The pass from Ralston was the definition of a hospital pass. Our players don't have the quality to carry off this style. It was the same all game. * passing/terrible movement from back to middle leaving us exposed and under pressure.

 

Ralston was diabolical yesterday..

 

Yep. He had a good spell of a few games at the start of the season, but recently he's started going back the way.

Juranovic needs to be the first choice right back if he's fit.

 

He was really poor yesterday unfortunately. Badly at fault for their goal as well. Not going to go over the top bashing him though as he has done well for the most part this season. But yesterday he was very poor.

 

Thats the reality of it. Ralston has done really well and shown he can be a good solid back up at right back but that is as far as it is going to go IMHO.

 

Looks done unfortunately. Slows the game down so much, we would've been just as good keeping Brown.

 

That defence splitting pass for Jota the other game aside, the guys been utter dross and a flop.

Sure we can expect if we had better fitness and coaching at the club, we may see all players actually be able to play better. But McCarthy as it stands is a flop.
