Sure he signed a 5 year deal in 2019, so he's got another couple of seasons left. Can't see anyone buying a perma injured player so he's staying put until then.

Aww f*ck this man seriously. Cannot be arsed with this anymore. It’s very unfortunate that he’s so frequently injured and I should feel sympathy as it’s the normal human reaction to hearing that someone won’t be able to physically do their job through injury, but it just happens far too often with this lad and it’s depressing.

Another season set to pass him by.

Talented player but I don't think he's ever going to realise it at us.

Said it in the pre-season but if I was Ange I wouldn't even count him as a squad member as he's rarely ever an option that's actually available.

If you have watched Mikey Johnston and Liel Abada and come to the conclusion Abada is miles ahead of him I'd seriously question your footballing judgement. P.s where has this 'take' pish come from. Seeing it everywhere now.

He is finished, looked sharp coming on against Livingston but this boy is made of wet paper and injuries are non-stop.

Heart goes out to the boy, talent unfulfilled through no fault of his own.

Abada is 19. When he’s 22 he won’t be here. He will be another big profit for the club.

Tricks and quick feet don’t make you the best winger at the club, absurd statement.

He’s never had anything more than that, guy plateaued at 19 and he’s not going to get any better. Now when he does get a chance, he’s trying to hard and getting greedy. Saw it against Livingston.

The term “take” is hardly new like. “Hot take” has been around forever.

Agreed - I'm sorry for the lad but, unless there is a dramatic turnaround in his fitness/reliability this season - the club should look at reaching a settlement with him and releasing him at the end of the season.

Said it before his one game comeback, if he gets injured again Celtic need to move him on. A player who is out for 50% of the season is no good to the team.

Abada is 3 years behind in his development and can already be relied upon far more than MJ. Has a more consistent end product and isn’t made of glass.

I’d seriously question anyones football judgement that thinks MJ is a better player than Abada.

At this point if he was actually fit for 50% of our games that would be a massive improvement. Unreal how the lad just cannot avoid getting injured.

Surprised he's managed that many. Seems like every game is a one off before an injury with him.

I think we are all desperate to see better options available, this is causing the mj rage, he is a good prospect but needs a run injury free.

It's my take, Jota looks great but just a loan at the minute Abada looks good yeh bit dodgee in the last game and Forrest yip we miss him when he's not playing I like him, but whether you want to go over the top again and say its horrendous? I think as I said if he ever manages to stay fit he's possibly the best winger at the club? Now there's a fair few possibilities in amongst all that so calm your self down mate, I hate when folk stick there opinion out there and some boy totally goes over board because they think there opinion matters more..

There’s a difference between voicing an opinion and just being wrong. Your initial post said he’s probably the best winger at the club.

Even if he was fit, he’s the 4th best winger at the club. He doesn’t have enough about him.

There’s a big problem in 2021 with people thinking they can just voice any opinion without any response or criticism.
