See given our track record on getting players fit. If we signed a free agent now he wouldn’t be fit to January anyway so what would the point be?

You are looking at a guy whose not been with a club since July 1st. Yeah he could be keeping himself ticking over but just look at McCarthy and Giakoumakis signed weeks ago and neither are ready to play.

Stock piling more guys that don’t fit a system isn’t the answer. Our midfield sorely lack any pace or power and it shows any test we face. I don’t see Brady bringing either of these to the table.

Having watched him closely for many years with ROI, reckon he would be worth a punt. He can play left wing, an area where we are so lightweight.
Only issue, like someone mentioned, is it will take so long to get him up to speed.

 

Would be more of a board signing than an Ange one, like McCarthy no doubt.

 

I'd put all the summer business, out-with Kyogo, in that category.

 

I'd guess that Kyogo, Starfelt and probably the big Greek were Ange signings. Not sure about Jota. The rest were likely put to him by others and agreed by him.

 

As much as I like seeing us sign Irish players his career has nose dived

If he can't get a game where he is now he ain't getting a game for us

 

I hadn't seen him for a while, other's have said he's completely pish now..

Shame as he used to be a very good player and one I always thought was one of the better Irish internationals..

 

We already have two sicknotes in McCarthy and Mike Johnstone and don't need another - Brady would have been a massive asset at one point but injuries have * him.

Sadly I agree with you. Would make no sense signing Brady IMHO.

 

Starfelt has to be in that category as well, Ange has backed him enough so far to make me think that.

 

Reeks of lazy journalism I think, can’t see this one being a thing. Irish past his best free agent left back, we are struggling at left back. Stab in the dark
