Think shot conversion wise Ajeti’s will be quite high, because he usually doesn’t get one away unless it’s a very good chance. Kyogo’s probably a lot less conversion wise, because the reason’s you’ve stated. He’s better, he’s clearly more dangerous and better all round but he definitely has a sitter in him.

The problem I have with Ajeti is that he looks like he should be good in a two but anytime he’s been played in one, regardless of who it’s been between Eddy, Klimala and Griffith’s, 3 guys that can link up with another striker he’s barely made a pass to them.

That was last season though, I think he’s better with somebody like Rogic behind him who can hold the ball up, play wingers in and do the link up play for him.

Aye thinking about it you're probably right. Kyogo gets shots firing in from all angles. Ajeti probably gets 3 or 4 tops a game and close in..

Aye I can't judge his partnership with Edouard as he was gone in my opinion. I also have a feeling that Ajeti and Lennon didn't see eye to eye as he was miserable as * around then and then got dropped..

Klimala wasn't great as a partner and Griffiths wasn't the same as the season before..

Ideally you need pace from the 2 wide men feeding him and 1 runner from central midfield to go beyond. That likely brings the very best Ajeti out..

I am one of his biggest critics but he is beginning to show something. Ange's magic really does appear to be working on our players judging by the improvements in the likes of Ralston, Rogic and now Ajeti.

Thing is, even at that the few times that Eddy and Griffiths got on the pitch together they linked up immediately. Not as successfully as the season before, so not sure if it’s just the way he plays or not. Doesn’t seem a guy that gets many touches of the ball or quick passes between players but he can be effective and this season at least, very hard working.

Need to change how we play for him, which is ok because a different type of player should change the way we play, that’s a plan B for me so I’m good with that. As long as he keeps contributing.

Thought he was excellent in the first half. Him and Jota ran them riot.

The thing I’ve noticed about Jota is he’s quick to notice how those around him like to play, Kyogo’s going to love him I think.

Alby must have something about him given some of the clubs he’s played for + the fact that a manager like Pellegrini signed him for West Ham.

He’s starting to show his qualities by the looks of it...

    Three goals in two.

Let's see what you can do.

    Play it again Albian.

Actually excited about the prospect of both playing together.

Presses well here and there but lacks so much to be a real regular with us..

His lack of mobility and awareness is a real problem..

    3 instances

The dummy by Jota. He doesn't even anticipate it
The touches he took to steady his self second half when the shot was on. Took an age and ends up on his *
First half also, flick was on for Jota to run on in and he tried to turn his man and kinda * it

Nowhere near what I'd be looking for from our number 9 at home to a championship side and 37 year old Christoph Berra..

He’ll get the odd goal here and there but he’s miles away from being good enough.

Rarely makes himself available for the pass. He's a center back's dream.

I compared him to Kris Boyd which i felt was probably harsh, but that monster munch * scored a lot of goals in his prime.

This guy just doesn't look like he's got it. We'll see, because we have no other * to play up front for a while now. The proof will be in the pudding.

And he's going to be leading the line for the next month amid a run of tough away fixtures.

    Whoopee.

He doesn't do enough running off the ball or making space for himself. Even with my dodgy knees I reckon I could probably still be able to man mark him as he is so static.
