Back to Taylor then

 

Hopefully we can get some wingers back fit and give Montogmery a proper run of games at left-back. He's shown up well in small bursts in some difficult games, so I'd like to see how he develops with more regular football.

 

We should bring Scales in and see what he's got..

Taylor should be behind Montgomery though..

 

Scales should have been brought on with about 15mins to go.

Especially when our guys were looking tired.

 

He doesn't offer enough to play lw for us. Tidy enough but is lacking in too many areas to be effective. He might improve with games though.

 

Did alright when he got on the ball, but offered little in the way of creativity or as an outlet to get us up the field when we were under pressure.
He gets pass marks from me.
There’s a player in there though.

 

Big ask for a kid to come in and play that position. He never hid, kept showing for the ball, stuck at it.
Reckon this game will really stand to him, hopefully a stepping stone in his development.

 

Jesus, he's went from a top prospect to not good enough in a matter of days. The usual TC bipolar brigade out in numbers.

He's a fantastic talent and miles better than Taylor.

He is a good prospect. Technically excellent for me and I noticed that from his first game. His first touch was class..

He definitely shat out of a number of tackles though yesterday..

 

Honestly didn’t notice that and it’s usually something that drives me insane

 

Watch back the first 15 or so mate..

There was one passage where he pulled out of 3 in a minute. * me right off

 

Very poor..

Gave it away so often..

 

Genuinely don’t get how people rate him…

 

Hate to see him in a maze; his ability to dribble into a dead-end is unsurpassed.
