i think we have finally found lustig's replacement in juranovic

 

You know to me it's the biggest Myth that we never replaced Lustig. I've seenit said so many times. We signed Elhamed who looked very solid at times and probably could have been a realplayer for us under different circumstances. And we had Frimpong who everyone thought was great for the most part and got a £13million move to Leverkusen.

Lustig was a legend but we replaced him much better than we did Tierney.

Anyway, Juranovic will have to earn his place. Ralston looks better early doors

 

Can see him starting LB tomorrow.

 

Can see him possibly staying RW as I am really struggling to think who else can play there.

At least at left back there is Montgomery or Scales, who are totally untested but at least have played that position.

 

Juranović at RW would be okay, far better mileage out of him than LB.

 

Plus Montgomery has done enough IMHO to deserve a start tomorrow at left back.

 

What a pen for the bhoy.

 

Can see he has got massive amounts of quality, as long as he isn't prone to howlers I think we've got an outstanding deal for this guy.

 

He’s clearly a very good player, and I’m * delighted at the length of contract he has.

the failure to buy a proper left back was largely my only gripe from what was a very difficult transfer window.

As a result, in my opinion our best defender is only seen playing on the wrong side of the pitch - it’s not * ideal is it.

nothing against ralston either - but with jota on that side you need international experience covering for that luxury. Sad but true.

Should be played ahead of Ralston at right back from now on..

Absolutely. Enough square pegs round holes bollocks. Jurassic at RB and Monty LB. Play to our strengths and strongest 11.

 

Looked quality for me..

Played as a DM for much of the game.

 

Love how confident he was to take the pen.

really like the guy think he is going to be a top quality player for us.

 

Good touch and good composure, so he should show up well in this system. Haven't really seen much of what he's like running at people or getting into crossing positions yet.

 

Would love to see this wee guy playing as a proper RB.

 

I love Ralston, and much of his poor form today was down to match fitness, but now's the time to start easing in Juranovic in his actual position at RB.

He's clearly versatile and can fill in at LB in emergencies, so that's good.
