I like basic goals, especially a header, barely ever score a basic header. Guy who doesn’t suit the style, signed under previous management coming in and helping the team by scoring a couple is fine with me. If his role this season is to come in when we’re desperate and he scores in they games I’m happy.

I will take a barrel of basic goals ove a single screamer any day. We have seriously lacked the "basic" goals for too long.

Do I think Ajeti needs to improve in the team yes, do I think he can yes. When he first came he scored 6 in 7 games totaling about 180mins on the pitch, then he got injured then the rest of the season was the fuckup that it was where nothing * worked all season under the incompetence that it was.

 

Nothing wrong with that, obviously a difference of opinion on him.

 

Its been a while since I've seen one of our strikers score with 2 headers in a game. Happy for him to be no.3 and chip in with a few when needed. (Although I'd prefer an up and coming youngster to fill that role)

Also Ajeti looked pretty trim for his standards / body shape. The high intensity training is paying off for the big man haha

I put my hands up I wrote him off, fair * to the guy he's actually done really well in the games he's played this season.

We know he can do the job when he is called upon. He was unlucky not to have got another goal tonight, some * ridiculous refereeing decisions as well went against him tonight.

Ajeti has grown on me for sure.

 

Def a player and goal scorer there. Needs a run of games to build it up. Will be very useful to have in the squad. Pleased for him.

He's a penalty box striker. Kyogo through the middle is always the preferred option but could you play kyogo just off him?

 

He was fantastic tonight, funny that his two best games, by far, have came against Lille and Betis, not exactly the easiest games

Really hope he has a stormer in the Livingstone game, that's the sort of game where you want your striker to unlock their defence.

 

Great game. Showed he can be an asset for us.
