Have to disagree, he will get us through against teams like Ross County. But I wouldn’t be happy with him leading the line against the better teams in the league, he also started finding space when we went 1 nil ahead which brought his goals. He won’t fit into the system or type of football Ange wants to play, a half arsed Edouard was more suited and he wasn’t even trying a leg.

Edouard’s a * exceptional player we all know he’s better than Ajeti.

Think he’s a decent 3rd choice as it is. Never get somebody at Eddy’s level for 3rd choice.

That wasn’t my point was it? Edouard barely trying is still better than Ajeti looked yesterday. Are you confident going to Pittodrie or Tynecastle with Ajeti leading the line? Remember this is a guy we bought for £5 million ffs!

I really don’t care how much we paid for him, I’m quite happy with him as a third choi e striker and Edouard is obviously better than Ajeti. Edouard’s been better than pretty much all our strikers since Larsson.

I’d rather Kyogo or the big Greek boy, but as 3rd choice I’m happy enough with Ajeti aye. Not sure we’ll get a better option as 3rd choice striker for us, he won’t get much gametime this season. Next couple weeks will be the most we’ll see of him. If he pitches in like he did yesterday am happy.

Baffles me that people are genuinely displeased with him scoring a double, it’s bizarre

Are you missing how much his lack of movement affected the performance yesterday, not being cheeky but did you go to the game? I was baffled watching him trying to run off a man, you could find junior players that can score those goals.

It all depends how we play. If the team around him can supply decent service to the penalty box, he will score. He had 15 touches yesterday!! Very little but still scored two. What more can you ask of your striker?
His game is not really running channels or coming short too much. He wants to be in the danger area. Therefore if we have to start him against betis (which we’ll prob have to) then Ange needs to recognise this and alter our shape and tactics to suit. Otherwise he’ll be an empty jersey.

I’m not missing it at all, I just don’t mind a back up to a back up striker coming in and scoring a couple of goals when the two guys ahead of him is out.

And you couldn’t find junior players, that’s ridiculous mate, they’d be well out of their depth.

His 2 goals were basic as *, apart from him scoring what did he bring to yesterday’s performance? His lack of movement affected the way we play it was absolutely woeful. You obviously don’t give a * we’ve spunked £5 million on a guy that isn’t really suited to our play at all. Only plus side from him I see is he is good in the air, that’s probably why he was signed under Lennon.

Does a not trying Eddy throw himself for the header at Ajeti's first goal, or be alert enough for the second on the rebound?

How many times before Eduoard left did he just tamely pass it into the keepers arms when he'd have buried it a season or two ago?

At a basic level, he's a better footballer than Ajeti obviously, but he was a waste of a jersey recently, can't believe there were people on here kidding themselves that it would be worth losing him on a free transfer because he might come good and score some goals, he'd chucked it.

Do you think we played well yesterday? Also did you witness the game live as in the stadium?

No I don't think we played great, that's sort of the point though. Kyogo is obviously our first choice to the way we want to play, but plan A doesn't always work, if a player like Ajeti can come in as backup, score twice without being brilliant, he's a good option to have. He's an effective poacher, something different, if he gets service he'll score goals, and that wins games. You're comparing him to Eddy but do you think him not bothering his * scores twice yesterday? I don't.

I asked do you think WE played great yesterday? I also asked if you were at the game? I never compared him to Eddy, I said we’ve played better with a half arsed Edouard upfront.
