Was OK, I think he looks a decent player, speedy etc. Few mistakes but no issues with him starting games right back if Ralston not available.

 

Didn't make much of an impression for me today, game sort of passed him by.

 

Looked better at left back funnily enough.

 

Not overly impressed. But certainly will improve. Hopefully. Got roasted by that big guy Charles Cook a couple of times

 

Was terrible got roasted all day long off their number 17..... Ralston will walk back into RB.

 

Will take all the new players some time to settle, he played LB and RB in two games with different personnel in front of him in both.

Can't all hit the ground running like Kyogo.

 

He’s just played 3 games on the bounce for Croatia.
Hopefully that’s why his performance was probably no the best.

 

A poor man's Tony Ralston.

 

I didn't even notice him. Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. Given he's playing right back, probably a combination of both...

 

Even though we won 3-0, their number 17 was clearly MOTM I thought as well. He looked really good, quick, stong, beat men all the time and he got in the box and behind our defence, seemed to be everywhere where as the rest of their team were pish and never really done anything.

I actually thought at the game Aberdeen, Hibs etc should be signing him as it's really rare an opposition player is noticable when we play these sorts of teams.

 

He was quite...subdued. Didn't venture much forward in the 1. half. Second, he did try, but maybe he hasn't gotten used to Abada yet. Defensively, he had bad and good moments. I'm expecting Ralston to start vs. Betis, but then Josip should start the subsequent game- he needs to understand his new teammtates.

 

Seemed to be undisciplined, was wandering out of position at times.

Back in probably no real training again under Ange and making his home debut..

I've ZERO worries about this guy..

 

Our fullbacks have clearly been instructed to come infield looking for the ball, it's been a clear Ange tactic, full backs popping up in Central positions like Ralston did for his goal at Hearts..

Will just take time and understanding on when to do this and time for the fullbacks teammates to get used to picking them out..

 

A Croatian international right back.. Jesus give the guy a break! Only just joined the club, played left back, away on international duty playing 90 mins in both games v Slovakia and Slovenia, I’ll give him the benefit of doubt.. he’ll be a great signing for sure

Aye, he ran across the pitch near enough to the left wing about 5 times.

 

Didn’t have a good game yesterday but done more than enough on his debut to show his qualities.

We can’t expect every new signing to hit the ground running, especially when they are coming into a team that isn’t settled.

Playing 3x 90min games on the bounce for Croatia tells you what you need to know about his quality/potential.

 

If Paul Lambert says he’s a player that’ll do for me. Pity he’s 2nd choice to our bhoy Ralston but hey ho.
