Fair enough, that's your view but I don't agree. I just don't find it sinister.

 

This is why fans need a representative on the board, obviously they wouldn’t explicitly tell us what’s happening with McKay etc but at least the board would be held accountable and things brought up during the shareholders meeting that would require serious talks

 

There are thousands of news articles out there which people will see even before they check his LinkedIn and I can tell you what would really look * weird if he on there would try to hide that he worked for us

It makes zero sense to delete a job if the first info you'll find on google is about that job!

 

I hope when we do recruit a new CEO we do it alongside a new DOF, really don't want the latter pushed aside.

 

What?

He sold like £30m worth of footballer and bought > £10m including from places like Japan.

Sold 60,000 season tickets, launched 3 football kits, hired a football manager that's managed at international level.

This few months is probably the biggest thing on his CV. At worst, he'll have learned about 10 years worth of stuff.

 

I hope that as well, but we all know here that this won't happen. We'll do it the wrong way as always. Most probably Strachan until the end of the season just to asure that our new DOF can't prepare for the new season.

His resignation is exactly what will repeat itself until we remove the incompetent * at our board and our * owners, first of all them Desmond.
Until we do that, nothing will change and we will be badly managed.

 

Putting that he did 3months at a club as CEO and then walked is about as helpful as me putting that I'd worked a weekend job in a Halfords store at 15 on my engineering profile. If not worse, because now he looks completely unreliable.

And as a CEO he can look to work anywhere in the world, including the 99% of it who don't give a * about us. Only thing that'd harm him would be blabbing about it, which we'll need to see about.

Personally, I think he's gone for family reasons, because he didn't really understand that the 24hr a day thing was completely enveloping (for wife and kids (?) too). Coming from rugby there'd be rivalry, but not hatred from the opposition and massive poring over and micromanaging of everything in a public space from his 'own side'. He left at a good time from s CEO perspective, having seen out the Ange hire and completed the transfer window.

Guess we'll just have to see what comes out in the wash...

 

Dom McKay is resigning. He’s unhappy with the influence Peter Lawwell still has and has mentioned this to DD. Lawwell has been tasked with finding potential DoF for interviews. McKay feels he should be the one reaching out to potential candidates but DD has told him PL will be doing this. McKay has took it upon himself to resign mainly due to this and also other issues going on in the background. Relationship between him and DD has completely broken down.

This appointment isn't working out for us/him/we, who can we get out there? The wee guy in the canteen works well within a team......shares his bag of chip's on a Friday..

Our chase of Howe lasted longer than Dom did ffs!!! Next appointment will tell us a lot about the direction we're heading. Also hope this doesn't affect Ange's plans.

This has stressed me out a little today I must admit.. Its down to the players and manager for the next few months! Leave the background stuff in just that. Glad WGS is coming in as and hopefully, just hopefully we can get a CEO & DOF sorted in the next couple months.
Patience will be needed cause its not like we can go to plan b/c/d when McKay was appointed and offer them it, as there probably wasnt anybody else

 

I think McKay has left because of the corrupt bawbags at the club.I can't believe people are delighted about WGS coming in the club is *. I still can't believe Banker is still here as well.
