Deserves another chance under Ange, imo. Looked good when he came on yesterday; super fit, hungry, willing and determined. Looked as though he had a point to prove and meant biznz.

If he can find form like Christie,Rogic etc under Ange it’ll be like new signing,a player there I reckon.

A lot of his clips for Basel, it was hard running, decent movement and clinical finishing. If he works hard and does what Ange tells him he could clean up. Probably up there with Griff as our most natural finisher.

Not writing him off yet, looked lean and hungry when he came off the bench v St. Mirren will be interesting to see if he can seize his chance before Jan, if he gets one.

I noticed that too. He looked very up for it when he came off the bench that day. With Griffiths gone now he is the third striker option so given the heavy work load of games we will have between now and January he will get some chances. It will be interesting to see how he does as IMHO there is something there. Maybe at this point it is simply a case of him playing well enough to interest someone to buy him in January but either way it will be interesting to see how he does.

The problem for him is the system. He isn't suited to it whatsoever..

He can't press intensely as he's too immobile..

    Kyogo? Tailor made
The Greek? Obviously well fancied, mobile and strong in the air

Ajeti has a lot of convincing to do. I'm certainly no convinced. He's slow. Can't beat a man. Out of sorts. A huffy *..

    Ange isn't convinced. Lennon wasn't. Kennedy wasn't..

    Time will tell..

you wonder how many opportunities hes going to get can he keep his dander up until that opportunity arises

will ange squad rotate the 3 strikers, i think on paper its kyogo who is the best undoubtedly then its a toss up ajeti has played great at basel was it looked really sharp playing off the shoulder and great penalty box finisher his game is all about goals, and giorgos is another goal machine but got height and strength its just that giorgos and ajeti dont seem to have that magic touch if we are only gonna play with 1 striker like we have its gonnna be very very tough on these guys and they may go the way of all the other secondart strikers we have bought and end up leaving for next to nothing after a year or 2

ajeti and giorgos would score a barrel load for any other spl team in my opinion its our system the wastes strikers

Out of all the guys that have been written off in the squad Barkas, Bitton, Boli and Ajeti, I do feel Ajeti is the one that could still contribute for us.

He looks to have taken training a lot more serious and looks like he is in the kind of shape you see in the Basel video posted above. Even when he was out of shape last season he had just started to look decent when he pulled his hamstring.

His performance against Livi and Hibs at home were both decent with two good goals and some decent link up play.

The work ethic he showed when coming on against St Mirren was a positive as one of his only decent big game performances for us was away to Lille where he had a hand in at least one of Elyounoussi’s goals and even when unfit showed he was willing to work hard to help us get into the game but couldn’t sustain it.

I don’t think he will be first choice but do think he could show something in games that would get him a few goals and at least have another side look to sign him off us.

Could be a massive opportunity for him with Kyogo likely to miss a few games and new ST finding his feet..

He's never really experienced what it's like to play for us with a full crowd behind him and decent coaching..

Up to him to seize his chance.

In fairness to Ajeti when he came on in that last home game against St Mirren he was very up for it and showed well so lets hope we see more of the same tomorrow and going forward this month. Without a doubt this is his big chance given Kyogo is going to be out for a month and from what Ange is saying it seems Giakoumakis is not match fit yet.
