What's going on at Celtic :giggle1:

It's absolutely mental what's going on here but we're promoting from withing for now which makes sense until we see what's what. That does provide some stability to a degree but how on earth does that help us out in the long term?

The guy wanted to mordenise the club from within and people on that board didn't want that and probably made is job harder to get anything done we all know about these * on the board .
The worry is now how is Ang going to get on with the guy who has replaced McKay and will he have the same ambitions that Ang has for the club that is the worry and the board could chase Ang out the club .

Hope it's not involved his own personal health or his families. If he's been undermined then * the * that run this club. No wonder we're in a state. They've helped hold this club back for ages.

I don't think it's the brevity of the statement itself that's the issue, it's the brevity of what Bankier said about him. Normally you'd expect them to list some highlights of his tenure, like we'd like to thank him for his hard work in bringing in our new manager, and the work he's undertaken to modernise the club, something of that ilk, instead it's basicaly just thanks and the rest is about the guy taking interim charge.

She saw it on some FB page so not directly from her but she’s that’s who told me. She even said she doesn’t believe it she asked me afterwards had I heard anything which of course we haven’t. She isn’t a fan of football so if the post didn’t have Celtic in it the connection definitely wouldn’t have been made. I have now seen a screenshot of the post and I 100% believe if it’s real someone should be sacked as it goes into his family and what kind of cancer etc.

Do you honestly believe a guy from a Rugby background would have had any idea who Ange Postecoglou was prior to his appointment ? Ange was the boards appointment he popped up out of nowhere after the Howe deal died and was appointed within a matter of days his links to the City group are hardly a coincidence imo

All very strange. Took him a long time to actually join after being announced, was unclear to what extent he was actually involved or not prior to the summer, now out the door with a vague reason that dissaudes any further questioning for detail. Fishy, fishy.

This board is a cancer that needs cut out the club and the people within it and McKay probably wanted to get the club into a better structure and mordenise it and probably stepped on too many toes who didn't want change .

I’m guessing a fair chunk of his contract will need to be paid up. For a board that are notoriously tight, they don’t half squander a lot of money.

Also wonder what's Ange's take on this is. Didn't get his own backroom team from the off and now no one at boardroom level.

Why would a chunk of his contract need to be paid since he left by choice?

So why even mention she's a nurse ?

My uncles pal is Peter Lawwells driver and he said Lawwell still holds huge influence over the current board and as a result Dom was constantly undermined. It was a Whatsapp message he got

Rushed? There’s plenty of time taken to talk about the next guy coming in. It doesn’t seem rushed at all.

*.......This is baffling. But it has the hallmarks of being down to in house politics. Just when we think we're moving forward. Taken back by this.
