If it is something personal then no-one is entitled to the details unless he wants it to be shared but also the club knows that people will try to fill in the blanks with it being vague.

 

Nobodies seriously suggesting they post his medical record.

The statement clearly could’ve been warmer without revealing anything of a personal nature. It’s deliberately as short as possible which is usually an indicator that there’s a professional problem.

Not even a comment about Dom doing a great job, or some mention of his achievements in his short time. Just a ‘thank Dom for his efforts’..

 

Because Motherwell are run better than we are.

 

The board wouldn’t dare bring Lawwell back. The backlash wouldn’t be worth it.

 

Lawwell not only got away with * us over for almost 17 years, but was heralded as football’s chief operator by much of the support.

Of course they’ll bring him back. In fact, I reckon had we beaten Sevco, he’d already be publicly back in the role.

 

Hopefully he and his family are OK and hopefully the rumours of his health are a load of nonsense.

 

Nah I thought he was was a typical bullshitter in a suit. Tbf I’ll probably be sceptical of the next guy as well.

 

Some mental rumours flying about just now, they’ve left this so open to speculation, see what comes out in the wash but the rumours aint good.

 

Seems like he knows celtic is a * show right now with the way things were and still are run.

In many ways I’m hoping the “personal reasons” statement aligns to every time I read it when it’s code for “behind the scenes issues professionally”

purely because obviously you just hope him and his family are ok.

Was always a very strange appointment in a professional level.

 

Wish Dom all the best, we don't need this as we are starting to move away from the way the Board has been doing things for years. Appointing somebody who has been at the Club for 8 years will only hinder us until we get a proper CEO.
If it was anything other than personal problems , I am sure a CEO can't just walk away, should there not be an Emergency AGM.or something and the stock exchange given prior notice a CEO is leaving, not when he has left?

 

If it is to do with the board which is looking more likely, then it goes much deeper than that…

I get that it seems rushed, but so do most of our statements! But the speculation off the back of it is unreal aha, this should be called 'SpeculateCeltic"
