    Even though I was London based..I loved this Belfast Irish band..who never made it - but because of them - 22 years later - I got played on BBC radio :) Yeah - I never got famous!

    Saw them with the wife before lockdown. They were doing the twentieth anniversary tour of the album and played from song one, right through till the last song on it. Everyone knew the words and the venue only holds about a thousand, but * of a noise. What a night :50:

    Energy Orchard - full album playlist - written during the troubles - Good band. Play it loud!

    I was 17 in London when I first heard this band. In 1989, everyone in London hated the Irish because of the IRA bombings. The Irish were the most hated race in England. This was the first band that made me feel part of a greater cause. I was Irish and they sang for me. I'm biased!
