Downsizing again in the most important season possibly ever!!!!

 

With the sale of Frimpong, Ajer & Edouard, we should have at least £40million been invested since January? Even spend £30m to give us a fighting chance

 

However I reckon we might get a few curveballs thrown in tonight

 

I am fed up with the usual "we tried" excuse or "only interested in getting players in who will improve us" pish.

We have money in the bank, a lot of it I'm sure so please Celtic get the money spent on decent players that will put the * up the Huns.

Please give us a transfer window to remember for the right reasons...

 

We do need a surplus to finance guys like Lee O'Connor Luca Connell, Liam Shaw and all the this great young talent we are targeting

I’ve accepted that it’s gonna just be the two done deals and maybe one last min loan deal.

Gonna need to hope guys like Ewan Henderson, Montgomery and Johnston can step up and stay fit (Johnston).

Not expecting anything but hoping for a couple of loan deals as well as the two we expect to come in, just for squad depth.

I usually try to take a balanced perspective of our transfer business as there are difficulties in getting players in, but on this occasion there’s no excuse to have not signed more players.

Our squad depth is horrendously shallow. A couple of injuries to first team players and we’ll be asking guys in the stands if they’ve brought a pair of boots with them.

 

It’s taken us 3 weeks to get the Greek striker deal done,no chance of any more signings today chaps.We’re buggered if we get 2-3 more injuries which will inevitably happen.

 

Just announce the two and close the window this is painful

Probably looks more shallow to us also because we don't know the script with a lot of things. Like how long are Forrest and McCarthy out, when is Johnston, Dembele or Jullien back, and what the plans are for players like Urhoghide, Lawal, Shaw, Scales.

As fans we are looking at those 9 guys and thinking they're not really available or likely to play any time soon but maybe they will be.

Looks like Ange is gonna have to continue to use that's same small core group of players he refers to.
