I'm gonna be the odd one out here...

I think the club will suprise us with 2 or 3 additional signings to Jota and the Greek striker.

We will keep Ajeti as 3rd choice and that will be enough upfront till Jan,

We will hopefully sign a 2nd LW with Jota,
A defensive midfielder, and a CB. (I think scales is our new lb signing along with Montgomery and Taylor.

It's no over till the fat lady sings and we have till midnight to hear her dullset tones.

Honestly anyone who was thinking we would get 3 or 4 players in only have themselves to blame for believing that. Our team has improved but it would be hard not to. We are stil well short on numbers for a full season

 

2 permanent and 2 loan and I'd be happy. Just need to build on that in January.

unless something miraculous happens this has been by design the board have been stalling for weeks and months on possible signings running down the clock to these last hours deliberately

 

Get the feeling the board are trying to pull the wool over our eyes yet again with the delayed Giakoumakis and Jota announcements.

It's a * riddy man, we were linked with Giakoumakis 2 weeks ago! We need to sign 5 players today at least. Anything less and we're severely short. I don't see us challenging unless we get it sorted. The squad already look knackered and we're not even in September! We always seem to be a few injuries away from a crisis.

Because we are not in the market for that kind of talent unless you want to pay over the odds for some * from the championship. The player you are talking about would cost us £10m+ and £50k in wages. We got McCarthy in for free and he will have a big impact if he gets fit. He went through a medical and passed.. if he never makes an impact here then I’ll be * off.. but not now. On paper it’s a quality signing.

 

Mental, we get a nominal fee of what about £1m for Christie and nothing for Ntcham..

We've been quite shrewd in general in selling assets, at least.. but that looks about £15m+ in lost revenue..
