It doesn't replace Edouard's quality but I'd be quite happy with that..

Lot of leg's, more depth and some proven domestic player's with scope to improve..

The Greek and Nisbet are nowhere near Edouard's best but they're good player's and will add to the goals in which we've got goals right across our team anyway, especially with how we play..

McCann is a no brainer for most of us and Jota looks like he could take liberties within our system..

Would be a decent enough window then til we get to January and he can work some more on J League talents and other target's..

Hope that’s true. Suppose we’ll know as the day goes, would like Giakoumakis and Jota announced today and then that gives us tomorrow for the rest. Reckon if they aren’t announced today we will announce tomorrow as deadline day signings and gloss over the areas missed.

Expect Edouard and Griffiths to go, potentially Barkas and Bolingoli too. Bitton apparently reluctant to leave despite interest.

Wouldn’t expect any movement on Christie. If he was to go, he’d need replaced. I’d say we need another striker on top of Giakoumakis if both Edouard and Griffiths go too.

Must be our PR team’s worst nightmare not knowing whether to announce deals today to gloss over yesterday’s result or wait until tomorrow to gloss over the board’s transfer shortcomings.

Outwith the 2 that seem to be done I still think we need CB, LB, ST and a Wanyama type of midfielder

 

Definitely we need a left back I agree. Especially for the way Ange wants us to play. Taylor is fine as a back up but he is not at the level we need for our first choice left back.

 

We need a beast of a centre back. Someone that can scare a striker with his presence alone. Quick would be a bonus..

I'd take McCann right now, he could do the 6 job easily and allow McGregor to push up or he could play the 8 and be box to box, no problem whatsoever..

A left back on loan possibly and a third striker loan to buy type when Edouard goes. A young up and comer with Kyogo and the Greek..

That's 5 or 6 million to be spent off the Edouard money with McCann and a centre back roughly and the other's being loan's/loan to buys like Jota, followed by the Greek on a permanent as well..

Won't happen but I don't see that is asking for too much..

 

Maybe nothing in it but I live on the flight path for the airport and a private jet just went over. Being a Flightradar obsessive it’s quite unusual for private jets to go over at this time. Maybe someone on it?
