    Y’know, I’d take him for a couple of years. He’s a quality finisher but his movement will be seriously lacking. We needed someone up top today who could hold the ball up and bring the wingers into play. He would certainly do that. Depending on price? I’d be all for it but I can’t see it

    Definitely. But we do need to replace Eddy and Griffiths. Giakoumakis and Deeney would be good. We need another centre back in though.

    Troy Deeney couldn't be further away from the style of play the manager is looking for and for the wages he would be on there will be far far better players available

    We need someone like him to win headers and hold up the ball when we play European games. Against them today, we needed Eddy to hold up the ball far better so that we could bring Abada/Kyogo into the game. He’s exactly the player to do something like that. In terms of wages etc, I don’t really care. It’s not my interest. Would he improve our strike force is the question and there’s no doubt he would.
