It was far from one of the weakest sides you've seen, that's a complete lie.

They were missing 2/3 players and one of the replacements was MOTM, I'm disappointed with the result but this was still a strong Rangers team.

The mismanagement of the club by the Board is the reason where we are with the financial start we had over them for nine seasons while they were in the lower divisions is a * joke .
And to see that today again been beat by these * is hard to take and with three days of the window remaining the board need to back the manager and get this £40 million at the end of the season .

Yes, we created less chances against a better team and as others have said, it was definitely more than one.

However I agree to an extent, but the other point I made is that I don't think Ange had the players at his disposal to change the game. He needs help and some signings.

The bench looked pretty pish and what does that say about Ajeti when the manager puts on Monty with 10 mins to go needing a goal and Ajeti still sitting on his * on the bench and another that should be punted .

The amount of teams celtic fans say are * or pub teams that beat us is laughable. That club has beaten us in the last 7 games, battered us in a cup final that we got a lucky goal in and if not for FF we would have lost about 5 goals. They also stopped us even having a shot on target for 90 mins in a game. Yes you can say it was because we was so bad but they have also been doing well in Europe. Stop kidding yourself they are not world beaters but they are also not * and sadly still the bench mark in scotland. We have work to do to catch them.

Bolingoli, Barkas and Ajeti all very expensive duds still on our books who offer absolutely nothing. By * we know how to waste money on transfers. Ange must have been dumbfounded when he found out how much we spent on the 3 of them.

Got to be a troll as well. Not a chance that side were weaker than the teams with Garner, Waghorn and the likes.

Not strictly true. Quite a few of their “chances” were shots from outside the box. I think we had more clear cut chances than they did.

All goes back to the age old adage.. you need to take your chances. Edouard taps that ball in on the 25th minute, its a different game. As clear cut a chance as we would hope for at Ibrox.

The board need to take their share of the blame for that. Its taken far too long to get bodies in the door and then they have had to get up to speed as well.

They have been out of form and we should've taken the chances given to us but that hun team is only like 2 players from full strength.

Abada has been doing that up until today and Kyogo put it on a plate for Edouard.

I think he just needs a bit more time.
I dont blame him for the way he set up.
The press works better with Kyogo on the left than Edouard because Edouard doesnt press.

They are not * as where would that put us now?. They are a big well drilled side who play to their strengths and, sadly, that's all it need to beat us just now. Hopefully Ange gets some guys in who can help us turn things around - like a big strong powerful CH,LB, a natural left sided winger, a strong box to box midfielder and a big strong CF who can win the ball in the air

The game today made me realise we badly need a ball winner for the middle of the park. Neither christie, mcgregor or turnbull are capable of doing that.

One chance? What exactly is your definition of a "chance". Missing an open goal from inside 6 yards? Gimme a break.

If Edouard takes a chance that he will never get an easier one in his entire career, and its a completely different game. Silences the crowd. Rangers have to open up and that makes them vulnerable.

As it was Edouard finished like 15 Euro Sunday pub player rather than 15 million Euro player looking to move to a top tier league. I know why he was picked though- you need a big body CF to lead the line and hold the ball in a physical match to bring the wingers into the game. As it was he should be told to GTFO ASAP. He doesn't want to be here, just f him off.

Then there Kyogo took a shot when he should have squared it for a tap in and squared it when he should have shot.

There's THREE chances there off the top of my head.

Christie was AWOL. Turnbull was hopeless.

You had a RB playing his first game after likely not even completing more than one training session with his team mates, playing as a LB because you have no other option, and it showed with a lack of understanding with his team mates.

Rogic cannot play at that intensity at the start of a game.

    Starfelt is a nervous wreck

    Some of the understanding

And there is the player execution. Diabolical cross by Ralston in the first half when he had time to pick a player in the box. And what was that corner kick that sailed over everyone in the second half?

You expect to go the champions home and win 0-6? With this squad? Not even Guardiola could fix this holes in this squad.

Was Kyogo's shot in the second half shot saved by the tip of the keepers boot on target?

The coach did what he could with the players he has and the time he has had available with them.

3 guilt-edge chances is enough to win a game like this one. The players didn't execute them.

Just to point out the obvious: They scored from a corner headed in by a centre back. Celtic were shooting corners and crosses over everyone's heads and over the touchline on the opposite side of the pitch. One results in a goal, the others result in embarassment. You can't overlook things like that and say the manager set them up poorly

Don't take your chances you lose. That's the difference.

Said on the other thread, I think Ange takes the blame for this one overall.

If players aren't performing, that's why you have substitutions. He knew the subs to make but delayed in making them for no apparent reason. We needed the subs at 0-0 and a blind man could see the goal was coming. Making the subs at 0-1 down actually made it far more frustrating.

If Kyogo started in the middle: 1. we don't know how he pulled up with injury after his last few games
and 2. he would have been battered black and blue from the kick off.

Odsonne has been bought by the club as the big bodied front man to the lead the line for games like this. If the club no longer sees Odsonne as that player than he should be training by himself and made unavailable to the squad. Otherwise the manager can rightly expect to pick him and have him perform professionally.
