Liel Abada

He's great when we're breaking or when he's running onto the ball, dropping deep and having to defend or link play just isn't in his game at the moment.

 

I can take players having a bad game mate, but him not tracking back or working for the team was unforgivable. He was one of a number of passengers today, how our brilliant manager never seen it I do not know.

 

Looked like a 19yr old today, he's been fantastic but this seemed a game too far..

 

But sadly these are the games that shape our season mate, also how the * our manager never replaced him sooner is beyond me.

 

Never had a run at Barisic once, we were too slow to get the ball to him I though only really recieved it when he was marked or by a long ball he had to take down and come back.

Too much of our play went down the left and it never really worked as Juaranovic wouldn't overlap down there and Kyogo isn't suited to playing there either.

 

I think he did have one run at Barasic and he whipped in a decent wee cross that no one got near. He needed to do more of that today. He was disappointing.

 

Totally out of the game, contributed nothing, never showed for Ralston either.

I'll be diplomatic and say he was quiet today rather than *, coward, imposter etc that we sometimes use to describe players an an off day.
Needs to improve and not have too many days like today, I'm sure he will be fine.

 

Fair enough, but he does need to learn to do something defensively or can't play these sort of games.

 

Did it against AZ too. If he is going to freeze up in these sort of games whilst he learns I'd almost play Juranovic or Ralston instead of him.

Can't be that absent in a game again regardless of age.

I actually haven't been that impressed with him. He is a good player but Forrest is streets ahead. That being said, he will come good at some point but I think he is 2nd choice for me

 

Extremely quiet game but we barely got the ball out to him, instead we kept attacking down the left. He was very isolated on the other side.

 

If Forrest was on the bench, Abada would have been hooked at half time.

 

So much for my budding career as a pundit.

 

Needs to tidy up his first touch.

 

Most of the game today was give the ball to kyogo and wait for some magic to happen. Its why our new signing had the most touches in the first half out of 22 players.

 

Would agree with that. He was poor today Abada although in fairness to him other then Kyogo late on when he went through the middle and some flashes from Rogic when he came on all our attacking players were poor today.
