It will be 2023 before any of the outfield players turn 30

That's a scary thought for the rest of the Hurling world to ponder

I don’t think it’s that scary to be honest. Yes they’re an objectively phenomenal team. But I certainly don’t think we’re staring at an equivalent of the Dublin domination of the football scene. On a given day Tipp could beat Limerick and have the players who have been their and done if at least once before. Equally, I don’t think Kilkenny are too far away now. It will be interesting to see how this promising Cork group pick themselves up from such a drubbing on such a big stage.

Corks under age had a good year so looking good down in Cork for the future.. I don't think yesterday will have too big an effect, just beaten by one the best teams to play the game

Tipps best players are in their 30's and they are no where near our level right now.We have hammered them in every championship game we have played in the last few years

Same goes for Kilkenny.Neither have a young spine though Kilkenny always has the ability to cough up a few but nothing on the near horizon

Galway are an ageing team too and they just lost Joe

Waterford or Cork are the only teams that are capable of putting up a challenge in the near future and we keep beating them with ease

I don't see a Dublin level of dominance but this side will definitely win a couple more All Irelands

Yes indeed, Limerick will dominate for the next few years. Manager has them peaking at the right time, could see they were a little off in the league but just got better with every game. They are an awesome side, physicality skill and above all, teamwork. Normally, there are a few key players that, if they can be contained, there's a chance of an upset but Limerick have so many, all 6 forwards are match winners. Tipp did put it up to them in Munster final but, an ageing team just could not sustain it and were steamrolled in that second half.

I think it will scar them bigtime, cant see them doing anything for a few years, despite recent underage wins. Horgan will go, a few more have a lot of mileage, so there will be a transition period. Years agoe, a fella was a good minor and walked straight into senior, but not now, even coming out of U20 is a * of a step up.

I see Tipp and Kilkenny as the only sides that have a chance, on a given day, of taking down Limerick. Tipp are not as far as people thing, they have drip fed some of the younger players over the last 6 months-B.McGrath, P.Cadell, M.Keogh, along with Jake Morris, Alan Flynn has cemented a midfield position. Just lacking a bit of physicality. I expect S.Callnan to retire, that will leave Paudie Maher of the old guard in the backline. Bubbles and Noel McG if game time shared, neither should be left on for full game, Bubbles always performs in first half, then out of gas. Will be interesting to see if Cahill takes the job.
Kilkenny have a few fine young hurlers, Cody and Mullen, DJs son. They are light for midfielders, need to find a few. TJ is the best free taker in Ireland and will stay. Wally Walsh is the most frustrating hurler to watch. Paddy Deegan and Lawlor solid. And the best keeper in Ireland.

Its also worth mentioning Waterford too, they will be scared after 2 thumping's by Limerick but, if they get new Manager, that will help. TDeB and P.Mahoney coming back will be a massive lift for them, Prunty great full back, a half line of Lyons TDeB and Daly, Barron midfield Bennet, Mahony, Aussie and Dessie are 4 top forwards, so they could go well.
Clare just short a few players and Galway rebuilding.

Tyrone have Kerry's number when it counts. Thought the ref was kind to Kerry with a few of their frees, better team won.

The team that wanted it more won it. The intensity of the Ulster championship probably helped Tyrone as well

This is going to be Mayo’s most heartbreaking final defeat yet.

I can totally understand your been so reluctant to think this is finally your time but I do hope Mayo win the final. As a Dub Mayo were easily the best team we played during this incredible run over the past decade so I think it would be fitting if you were the team that in the end that finally beat us and went on and won it.
Certainly it is a refreshing new look for the final. The first All Ireland final since 2010 that neither Dublin and or Kerry are involved.

Can’t get ahead of ourselves but cannot get past the fact that Mayo are favourites which is dangerous.

Breath of fresh air indeed. Would have much rather lost to Tyrone than Kerry so hoping for a cracking final.
