Is conference a comp we should take seriously?

 

Difficult enough draw. Tremendous away trips.

 

Some good tests in there. Would love some revenge over ferencavaros. Hoping for 2nd but not easy at all. Will be interesting against betis to see how our styles clash

 

It certainly could have been worse - the Germans are class but the other two are both currently sitting 10th in their respective leagues. We could have had an easier draw but we could certainly have got a harder one.

 

Group D or F would've been nice...

 

I think every competition should be taken seriously?!?

 

Betis aren't class at all. I'm sure they'll be handy enough but they've drawn their first two league games against Mallorca and Cadiz. Don't really have any superstars in their team either. Fekir probably the most well known.

I reckon we have a good chance of finishing second tbh.

 

Nah mate, it’s just meant to be a laugh. There’s no offsides, your only allowed to kick the ball with your left foot and all teams must wear their strips inside out.

 

With the exception of Bayern Munich away, I can see us winning the 5 other games comfortably with a few to spare.

Anyone have any idea when the dates for each game are announced?

 

Leverkusen were class in the first half of last season yes. But they're still known for * things up in Germany, hence their nickname Vizekusen - "Second-kusen" . Now they have a new manager so maybe they improve but as long as Tah is their centre back they'll have some blunders. And Kyogo will run riots vs Frimpong. But it will be a tough game for sure.

Didn't know first and second were staggered like that going to different stages now, gives teams much more of an incentive to keep pushing to win the group instead of being comfortable going through in second place.

You need to be a pretty class side to finish sixth in La Liga. They’re beatable though I agree.

 

Decent group to be honest. Could’ve been better but could’ve been a lot worse.

Trust us to have Braga and Zagreb left when we came out and end up with Leverkusen though

 

How are Betis not as good as AZ? Their squad is more then double the value of the AZ squad. They have players like: Bartra, Rodriguez, Tello, Carvalho, Fekir… very strong team innmy opinion. Whilst AZ were quality too, but they had one player head and shoulders above the rest, Koopmeijers.
