    I think Ralston will play the next two aye, and rightly so.

    But I don't think we will be signing this guy as cover long term and I think he will go on to prove his quality. 10 caps for Croatia and a world cup coming up, he isn't coming here to warm his *.

    Plenty of games for both to make an impression, to be fair.

    Yeah, I wasn't saying long term he would be cover, just until we have more options to cover at the back for set pieces. So if Scales comes in, for example, and is played at left back I can see Juranovic coming in instead of Ralston, but if Taylor is playing we can't really afford to have 2 short full backs as well as 2, relatively speaking, short CBs in Welsh and Starfelt..

    I'd be tempted to play him on Sunday as Tony will be playing on Thursday..

    I'd be even more tempted to play Juranovic left back instead of Taylor though..

    If the rumours about Tavenier being out because of COVID are true might be worth playing Juranovic on the right and Ralston on the left up against Patterson. Should be fun!

    I wouldn't be bodging either him or Ralston over onto the left in either of our next 2 games.

    Aye Taylor is not a superstar but he is improving slowly and I'd rather he plays in his natural position than shoehorn a right back in there.

    Agree. Was just having a laugh really. Ralston obviously should start as Juranovic gets time to settle. They can battle out who gets to play RB from there.

    Think it won't matter too much who ends up first choice at RB for us, as we play a lot of games over the season so both Ralston and Juranovic will get plenty of games.

    Can see the same happening with Scales and Taylor at LB, with Montgomery also challenging for a place.

    Boruc helping do us a turn there it sounds like. Usually when a player does the pre match presser he starts in the game so looks like we could well see Juranovic on from the start.
