I'd probably take him and offer Griff to them on loan for the season. We are probably going to have to cover part of his wages to get him to move either way and at least if it's a loan we can make sure he doesn't play against us, then if they want him after that they know they can get him for free anyway.

Don't think he has covid tbh, nobody is reporting it except fans and Hibs said he's omitted due to being 'unwell'

No mention of covid or isolation etc

Theres an assumption that Hibs would want Griffiths by our fans.
Yes on his day he is a quality striker, even for us.

But Jack Ross has done well to build a squad and im not sure that him wanting Griff is a certainty, given the baggage and off field issues that he brings.

If he were to spend months out the squad for them, thats big wages wasted for a club of their size.

I think they are headed in the right direction and i think they should be looking to the next Nisbet.

I would imagine if the deal for Nisbet goes ahead, it will be cash only.

I was highlighting the weird hard on people have when comparing a foreign import vs a homegrown talent. People just seem to think that foreign = better does my head in

Get him in just now, think Edouard may go to the wire, which may leave us struggling late in the window.

Wasn’t sure about this before but I’ve changed my tune. Would be very happy if we got this one over the line.

Not for me. I've seen nothing to suggest he'd make us better.

In my opinion he would give more more pressing and overall movement and mobility than the french guy, whilst still providing an aerial threat. He is more of an out and out striker than edouard. He plays off the shoulder of the last man and takes up poachers positions.

I think he would actually fit into the system very well and would provide cracking link up with both Kyogo and Abada. I think it would be the strongest attacking line in scotland.

    Abada Kyogo forrest

Is already the strongest strike force in Scotland

    Christie Ajeti eddie

Is the second strongest in Scotland :)

I think eddie and griff will go and we will bring in a centre forward and a left winger

    From the BBC:

Reports linking Hibernian striker Kevin Nisbet with a move to Celtic are "nonsense" and a "complete fabrication", says head coach Jack Ross.

A report suggested Celtic were keen on signing the Scotland forward, with Leigh Griffiths moving to Easter Road.

Nisbet will miss Sunday's Scottish Premiership match against Dundee due to illness.

"I wouldn't say he was unwell if he wasn't, because he is," Ross said.

"Second of all I, was really surprised when I started to get messages and calls about the story that broke because, as far as I'm concerned at this moment in time, it's nonsense, a complete fabrication."
