I have been misunderstood. I am not trying to be disrespectful to the memory of Jock Stein. I am saying that the manager's health and well being is just as important as any team member.

If you had read a previous post in which I referred to him, you will see I held him in awe and am very well aware of him as a legend and an icon of Celtic.

From what i have read on him, he had underlying health issues for quite some time before his untimely death coaching Scotland in a WC qualifying match.

I had no intent to offend. I was responding to a response to my initial post.

 

Maybe you a right there. We have been in strict lockdown in Melbourne for the last 18 months on and off now. We are currently in our 6th lockdown which has lasted 3 weeks and is likely to go another 3 weeks, so we are totally over it, the warnings, the masks, the need to get tested if you have a persistent cough etc.

Paranoia ? You may have a point there . It makes you more aware of your health when the leader of the state is telling you the same thing day in, day out. We had anarchy in the streets today, people demonstrating and being violent. Six injured policemen were taken to hospital after being assaulted. People have had enough of their liberties being restricted - but its to prevent this Covid Delta virus from spreading.

I see a full Celtic Park and we are not allowed to even visit family within a 5 kilometre radius at present.

 

Australia really * up the vaccine response, low cases and got complacent no need to rush mentality, a bit like here in SG, but they quickly rectified it when cases went up and started speeding up the vaccines.

Not really. I don't care where anybody comes from as long as they're good enough. Japan has been a decent footballing nation for as long as I can remember (I am quite youthful in age and looks). I've always wanted us to exploit the Japanese market as they keep popping up in decent European leagues. We now have a man at the helm that can exploit this market and I'm fookin delighted.

 

He knew kyogo was a star and went straight in for him. I bet he will play now with the new guys until January and any position, be it defence, wing or even another striker that he believes a Japanese player is better then he will go in for them.
