Only Celtic would pay £3m happily for a Left back from Kilmarnock but haggle about the same fee for a Croatian international right back, fresh off the back of a Euros and with league winning and european experience.

If he is vaccinated I don't think he needs to quarantine as per amber list rules. Could be wrong though.....

What do you mean, sign his replacement?
Don't Legia know, you have to wait 7 months before you even start negotiations to sign replacements? Ideally you wait around 6 years in the hope that folk get used to a position (CB) being woefully understaffed and just assume you only need 2 established CB.

Lol, it’s so ridiculous that I start to doubt it’s true. Part of me thinks surely they can’t be so blind, then the other part makes me wonder if the board organise the story and are trolling their own fans while Legia find a replacement.

So we've officially made a bid now? Great. Don't see why the last couple of pages have started going tonto, the rags don't know what's actually happening in negotiations, they pull the figures out their *. Even going the other way, they all said Ajer was 13.5m, it was an undisclosed fee.

Juranovic closer to Celtic: First offer rejected, but clubs are well on their way to a final deal

The Scots should send a new offer tomorrow.

Croatian national team player Josip Juranović could soon make a career transfer. Although some Croatian media pointed out that the whole business is close to complete collapse, the latest news says that the real situation is somewhat different. The former Hajduk captain joined the Legion last summer for only 400 thousand euros. It is already clear to everyone that this will prove to be a very good job for the Polish great, since Juranović is accompanied by a number of European clubs, but Celtic's interest seems to be most serious. There was talk of Fiorentina, but the transition to the Island is much more realistic. In addition, the Scottish giants need reinforcements in the position of right back, since they only have Anthony Ralston and the young Lee O'Connor, who is still not ready to become a first team player. Juranović has been their first choice for some time, but the whole deal was briefly stopped because Manchester City got involved in the game. Namely, the Citizens were ready to send 19-year-old Brazilian Yan Cout on a one-year loan with the possibility of buying a contract to Celtic, but in the end, those negotiations got stuck somewhere. Couto was even seen at Celtic Park, many believed the job was done, but it turned out not to be. Namely, Celtic did not give up on Juranović and now they are in the phase where they are trying to agree on the best possible conditions with the Legion, which certainly does not intend to let its best player go for 'change'. Polish media report that Celtic's first offer, worth two million euros, was flatly rejected. However, that did not sway the leaders of the Scottish team, and according to our information, the second official offer should appear tomorrow in the club premises of the Legion. The Legion asked for five million euros 'at first', Celtic values Juranović at three million euros, and it is to be expected that the two clubs could be found somewhere in the middle.

Equally, it should be noted that Juranović is interested in moving to Celtic and his wish is to wear a green-and-white jersey this summer. In any case, negotiations are still ongoing, and so far everything is talking about how the transfer could be realized in the end. Initially, it was expected that the transfer would be much calmer and painless, but both proved to be demanding negotiators.

I think this'll go through, he cant play against AZ anyway so as long as he's signed before Saturday I'd be happy.
