We need to convince him he will get goals in this set up and be able to pick a better club , so best advise is sign another year ,score loads of goals and the demand will be there again .

 

He’s wanting 85k a week ffs! No chance he signs here another year.

 

Not sure what to think after that performance to be honest. He seemed extremely pleased with the goal and even turned back to celebrate to the fans.

 

I thought he was pathetic before he got his goal, should have had a few and that dive was ridiculous.

However after he scored I felt like he looked better at least until half time. I think it isn’t just down to his half * effort that has been making him so bad of late but also he is a massive confidence player.

He has had slumps before, but my biggest worry is even when playing well his style doesn’t massively suit those all buzzing around him.

 

Has someone pushed some home truths trough his thick skull? He actually showed movement in attack, and benefited the team. I'd still start Abada against AZ, but if he's not fit, then Edouard better repeat this game.

 

Thought he was better than he has been but still not great. Some of his attempts on goal were poor. Hope he's sold soon.

 

He's not even the best player at Celtic, nevermind the country. What a total myth.

If he stays and plays every game, then it's at the expense of Christie (fingers crossed he stays), Abada, or Forrest and will mean Kyogo is played wider.

Kyogo is going to run riot no matter where he plays, but he'd have buried at least 1 of the chances Eddy squandered today if he'd been playing through the middle.

Credit where it's due: good goal and assist today, and he seemed to be putting in some effort, but he was still misplacing passes, running into players, and hitting tame shots.

 

He wasnt back to his best but it was certainly a marked improvement and a performance he can build on.

Would punt Ajeti and Griffiths in a heartbeat if that were to happen, mind.

He was the best player in the country in 2019/20 season, he’s certainly not been the best player in the country since last season and this season

 

He’s not getting a ‘pass’ from me just because of his goal. It was a fairly straightforward finish.

He was pretty poor for most of the match - missed another relatively easy chance, deprived a teammate of a likely goal through sheer greed, and made a ridiculous attempt at a dive.
