He'll lose his starting spot soon I think

 

Not impressed, looks slack with passing, let's the ball bounce, rash at tackling and probably coulda gave another penalty away with holding onto that hearts player.

 

The worrying thing is how much better Welsh looks than him..

He looks like a bombscare under pressure..

Needs to improve, LOADS..

 

Who the * is sanctioning these signings? You cannot have looked at this guy and thought that's the answer to Celtic's defensive woes... He will cost us time and time again.

He was * laughing when he conceded the penalty. Is this a joke to you, you * clown.

As stated previous this lad is not the answer. Some on here were given him the benefit of doubt in his first couple of games. That has now disappeared. Looks very disappointing for the money spent.

 

Are we sure he was an Ange appointment, I can't believe that, I know he's been slow to start but he gives me the fear everytime a ball comes near him, he's the new bombscare for me. Hopefully he'll get it together soon but I won't hold my breath.

 

The signing doesn't feel like it fits in with Ange's tactics. Hope he's just bedding himself in. We need another CB. Welsh is ahead of him for me in the pecking order. Sounds like Julian is still quite a bit away from playing.

 

We need to get another centre half in ASAP. We cannot wait for Jullien to come back. We need it sorted

 

Big man is struggling. CJ and Welsh are the future centre back pairings for me.

 

He’s completely out of his comfort zone as the left sided CB. Not all CB’s are made to play there, look at what happened to Hoos Valgaeren when he was shifted from right to left to accomodate BOBO.

Some harsh mistakes recently, and lacklustre performances. Must do better…

 

Welsh looks miles better than him, and I don’t think Welsh is ultimately the answer when it comes to being a first choice.

 

Welsh is 10x better than Starfelt. He's a squad player if I've ever seen one, been like a more timid version of Simunovic so far.

 

I think we'll sign a CB either on the cheap or on loan (Itakura maybe) as a stop gap until Julien comes back, and Starfelt will eventually get ousted for the new guy and Welsh. Failing that he'll hold on a bit longer and Welsh will take his place alongside Julien.

 

The style of how Ange wants us to play we need to have better players at the centre back position. It's critical that we get this sorted and get the right player(s) in

Simunovic is who he reminds me of, more in terms of his level than his style.

We seem to have an issue signing CBs. It’s a different type of defending you do at Celtic.

He could still come good to be fair. I’m happy to give him time but either way it’s clear he’ll need competition.

 

Shakey start for the fella. Concentration issue?
Much tougher games to come, especially away from home. Needs to improve.

 

Said it before mate. He has no left foot at all. Doesn’t excuse all his mistakes but it’s definitely noticeable
