Far better at CM than CAM, seems more comfortable in that position which is the position he played in most for Motherwell

    Unreal today.

    Constantly finding runners in behind.

Him and Furuhashi will link up some amount this season.

Looked far more comfortable today, can see his fitness and match sharpness getting better with each game. Showed his class last season and in this system he should thrive.

He's so much better slightly deeper when he's getting on the ball with the game infront of him as opposed to his back to goal. Brilliant today.

He started off poor the day, 3 dodgy passes early on which is unlike him over hit or wayward but he was superb after that and noticably a lot deeper than he has been playing.

Was it him that played it through to Abada for the first? some ball although Christie's for the 3rd was world class.

The ball out to Christie for the Rogic goal was world class

Yeah, i think he's been poor so far this season but he looked more on it today. Maybe being in the Scotland camp has affected him and he'll be back to his best soon.

Gotta think as well we signed him in January only just back from injury and getting fit plus our whole team was very unfit last season.

So he’s had a lot of work to do to get upto full fitness, improving each game and know he’ll find his form again.

I was calling for him to be dropped deeper, he can control the game from there and his range of passing superb.

Much better from him the day, some of his passing was world class. Keep at it wee man.

Less pressure to shut down allows him to shine

Playing the role he did today he sees more of the park which in turn allows him to apread the ball about , playing further forward means he can either shoot or pass back which isnt what he is about

Sorry David Turnbull’s game isn’t about shooting or passing? Am I reading this wrong?

My post a few days ago went into the wrong thread:

I think he is good enough but will take adjusting to the managers new style of play.
He was one of the best players last season. He has proven he can do it at this level.
