I reckon he’s playing for a bumper contract, either here or somewhere else.

I doubt he’s earned serious money yet. He deserves what everyone else is getting.

 

If it's just a case of wanting more money then I would give him it - if he was willing to turn in those performances every week

 

Showing his form of a few seasons ago, you can see his confidence is back as well as a lot of other players.

I’d make it priority to keep him and get new contract signed.

Obviously there's a salary structure here. But he has proved himself, but if he prefers 5k a week more at Burnley then punt. He's clearly a first team player now so should be on that scale of wage. There's a good chance we have been low balling him.

 

He's on fire and needs a new contract asap

Not sure if it’s an actual decision and a lack of effort though. Just when there’s no clear direction there that’s where his mind went and got stuck in a rut.

The decision to stay or leave should be down to him. Nobody, not even his father should complicate matters. We very much need him. His form is back to that first season when Rodgers "unearthed" him after injuries to other midfielders.

 

Back to his best. Some of his touches are amazing, would be really happy if we got him on a new deal.

He'd be daft not to sign at the very least an 18 month extension imo.

If he does, and has an excellent season and still wants to leave it gives us a chance of a good fee and he gets a better move.

 

Agree, sign him up on whatever wages. Tell him to get stuck in the same all season and punt him for £10-15million next summer.

 

Exceptional today. He really is tailor-made for Ange’s system. Pass for Kyogo third is world-class.

 

Yeah that was sublime. He's always had that in him. Might be unpopular for some to hear but the movement ahead of him hasn't been intelligent enough or willing enough for a long time, up until now. Edouard has been a struggle to play with for too long. Quality, off the ball movement and guys like Christie, Turnbull and McGregor will find you.

 

If we keep Christie we can wave goodbye to Mooy I think ..
