I'd rather not have Bitton at centre half but I can at least understand why he plays him.

Key there is when his head is in it, automatic starter every week stopped feeling the need to try his hardest, at the moment he should be impacting from the bench to earn his place back.

I think it’s more telling that he doesn’t fancy Welsh. I don’t think he wants to play Bitton.

 

I'm not here to defend Bitton but I think that's Ange's thinking.

He can take the ball under pressure and play a pass, which is what he wants his CBs to do.

Personally I'd have went Welsh but we'll see how it pans out...

 

They look like they are Playing a 4-5-1, if Ange is playing his system where our full backs are cutting inside, midfield is going to be one congested area. Who are we going ton be crossing it into? , no height up front. Hope Ange has sought out a plan B otherwise it's going to be a long 90 minutes.

 

I'm shocked bitton is playing and if he causes a goal tonight or gets sent off again then this time the blame is on Ang .
