I've been put on a fecking diet again as I have to loose some weight before my knee replacement operation. So troops, enjoy your assortment of calorie laden (but tasty) food while I eat stuff that even a rabbit would turn their nose up at

Does anyone remember an old School Dinner desert, it was like a spongy cake with raisins and came with custard? We used to call it dumpling, want to make it but no idea what it is.

I am having a chicken tikka, nan bread and some poppadum's which, I have been told, is my last meal of its kind as I am being put on another diet. I have been told I have to loose some weight by the doc as I am due to get an operation soon so, I will savour this curry and will unfortunately be eating rabbit food over the next few months
