Think he’ll prove to be a good signing. He’ll no doubt have a couple shaky moments but overall he’s a decent keeper.

Toure was a good signing, done a job for the first 4/5 months then helped in the background with the younger players and was a big influence behind the scenes.

Cole and Keane where * signings.

Not exactly buzzing but happy to have him in rather than what we have.

I like a commanding keeper and I'm guessing he will at least give us that.

    * situation to be just "settling" but I want any type of positive changes however small they might be right now.

With so many players needed this is a good option that leave the bulk of any money we have to be spent elsewhere.

Sad state of affairs, anyone not happy with even the idea of Forster should be livid with signing this imposter.

I don't see how he improves the squad given he's gash with playing the ball with his feet.

He improves the squad because he can actually save a ball and commands his area.

Something both of our keepers can't.

Forster could have come to us, we can't afford his wages end of and he won't take a pay cut.

Forster. Does. Not. Want. To. Be. Here.

I don’t know how much clearer that can be made? Everything was done and all he had to do was sign on the dotted line, but he never.

Hart on the other hand is taking a huge pay cut to come and play for us - give me players with that attitude and hunger every day.

Hart agreed to a permanent deal with us for 15k a week and clearly wants to be here, Forster would have been on 35k-40k a week here and might not have even stayed past his loan.

Hart isn't good enough, this idea he will improve our defence is laughable.

If you read my post again btw I make no mention of there being any truth to Forster coming back for the millionth time, just pointing out that anyone unhappy with him because he doesn't fit Ange’s style should be just as annoyed if not more, that we are signing Hart given he was dumped out of City the second Pep came in and saw he was as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Also Hart has only played 57 games since since the 17/18 season, for West ham Burnley and Spurs conceding 98 goals. Add in the season before for Torino, where he seemed to get some credit. He still conceded 62 goals in 36 games.

How that fills anyone with confidence is beyond me.

All well and good wanting the attitude but if that is what we want, we'll just end up with a squad full of Soro's, Ralston's, Klimala's etc...

I think there is a legitimate question to be asked if Joe Hart fits Ange's 'sweeper keeper' style but between the sticks doing the basics I think he'll do the business for us.

If he was here at the start of the season we’d still be in the Champions League, and we’d have at least one more point in the league. It’s that simply really.

Not much less that Forster numbers of games if he ever loaned out to us, Foster has been festering down there for 5 years.

It seems the medical has run into a snag- I expected him to have been announced.
