    I think he will get his first competitive win and we will kick on from here league is priority and if we get least some financial boost from European group stage football I’m fine with that

    So only Star felt goes in, all but been confirmed.

    The usual striker, he'll need 6 weeks to be match fit.

    Team gives me the fear.

    I'm hopeful that the 0 goals conceded in the cup group was just the quality of opposition, only fear I have is that it was probably better than ours still, lol.

    If we play well we'll scrape a win, probably 2-1, anything else a draw. Can't see us gettung beat, surely. Celtic are 19/20 to win against a promoted side regardless who it is, that's how far we've fallen, it's usually about 4/9 or 4/11.

    I actually am confident of a win against a Hearts team who will feel they have a point to prove against us. I dont expect a clean sheet given our dodgy defence, 3-1 for us.

    Yeah ano but last season is behind us and we will be a lot more energised tonight. Too many players didn’t give a * last year or just wernt good enough for whatever reason. Hoping we are us up for this as were against the Danes at home first half. We should improve game by game especially with new additions.

    Bit of realism needs to come in to it.

    2 weeks ago we all expected Midjytlland to hand our * back to us on a plate.
    After the first game, we all became confident, then West Ham happened and then the return leg, it kind of made it negative, to say the least, around here again. And rightly so.

    However, I think we really should take some comfort from the fact the middle to front looks decent, if not perfect - specially Striker.
    The backline is honestly one of the worst/unprepared we have ever seen, yet they still reasonably held their shape, some promising futures for Welsh and Murray and no one had any major calamity. All things considering.
    That backline though is very very unlikely to ever feature in that way again (all 5 at one time).

    Chances are we go in to tonight game with Bitton and Starfelt as the experienced heads in the CB pairing. Maybe Welsh starts instead of one of them, but I reckon it is more likely Starfelt and Bitton.

    Instantly, no matter our thoughts this week on Bitton, that is a much much better backline just having those two there (still not good enough) and will give the keeper a bit of assurance as well.

    I don't think Edouard will start, I really think his time is done and after that performance the other night, I would be surprised if Ange lets him start after that lack of effort.
    Christie on the left is doing fairly well, putting aside my general hate for the guy, and Kyogo seems to be a day or so behind Starfelt in coming out of isolation, so maybe see him from the bench, but unlikely.
    Abada will likely get a rest, although I would be keen to start him as well. Likely see him from the bench.

    I think we will get a result tonight but it will be a tough game, hearts will get physical and sit back looking to get a break or set piece,
