When I seen him the other week in pre-season he just looked miles away from playing for us, so did Luca Connell. They might be tidy players on the ball but they don't look fit, fast or strong enough to even play for anyone in our League they're powderpuff and would make Paddy McCourt seem like an athlete lol

Doing his best and that should lauded and respected. Just shouldn't have been put in this position and that comes down to the board.

Have been surprised he didn't try a 3. It's painful to watch and would have give central more protection.

Has to be a better option, within the club, even if we have to shoehorn.

You have the most bizarre fascination with footballers bodies, every single thread. He’s been capped for Ireland and played a shitload of games in a physical league last season - there’s * all wrong with his build. That’s not why he’s not featured.

We don’t really have 3 do we? Unless we just put the youths in, Welsh, Murray, Hjelde. Bitton suspended, Jullien injured and Starfelt not allowed to play yet.

But I’ve been wanting to see Forrest given a go at right back for a while. He definitely can’t do worse than Ralston.

Obviously we are not seeing O'Connor in training but * me we have seen plenty of Ralston and IMHO he is not even good enough to be back up right back never mind starting games.

If the likes of Edouard showed his commitment, we'd be strolling into the next round.

Played well tonight and showed that hard work can go a long way without much talent. Compare him to Taylor who basically hid and when he did receive the ball couldn’t wait to get rid even if it meant throwing a team mate under the bus.

Ralston, Welsh & Murray the 3 we were all most worried about are the only ones that can walk away from this game knowing they did all they could do.

Defended resolutely. Got forward and tried to put some balls in the box.

He has been getting panned of late, and if we would have went through we would be showering him with praise.

deserves credit and showed character, which is severely lacking in this group.

I think most of us are aware he's not good enough but * did he leave it all out there on the pitch..

Clearly not good enough going forward but respect and credit were credit is due..

Put in a couple of cracking crosses tonight as well, naecunt attacks them. Wish we had a forward who could actually attack a ball.
