When was the last time we had a settled side going into qualifiers? It just doesn't happen as we are always reactionary, rather than proactive, with out transfers. This year is just a bit worse than normal in that regard.

I know he completely fecked up in the 1st leg however, I wish we would still have had Bitton for this game as he is better than Murry and was actually playing quite well until his * up. I think if they watched us in our friendly against West Ham then they will know just how fragile our defence is and will play on the break while our defenders are out of position or just play long balls behind our defence all night. Either way I think we are going to be in for a torrid time.

Probably 2017 but even then we had gaps to be filled.

What I'd give to be moaning about Lustig or Boyata right now tbh.

Hopefully this time.next year we are in better fettle.

I'd play that team as well, Urhoghide can at least run with a ball and beat a many, a bit gangly but definitely more skillful than Ralston. Hjelde also has at least played professional football before and he looks confident on the ball, Murray was woeful against West Ham and I think is probably rattled and * himself.

    * situation to be in where you'd be giving two young guys debuts in defence and any kind of * up could set them back and hamper them and put them under pressure from the fans but they are better players than Ralston and Murray.

The thoughts of a backline tomorrow where Taylor is the senior player and probably the best defender we have on the field is a disgrace really. Midtjylland were * themselves in the first leg but you have to imagine they will be much better at home tomorrow and boy they must be licking their chops looking at that backline of ours particularly Ralston and Murray. I feel bad for Murry especially as due to the boards incompetence he is been put in a situation he should not be so early in his career and if he gets destroyed like he did Saturday it could really set his progression back severely.

They did fine last time. Our most experienced player - Bitton was the let down.

Sure they will see us through if our front line can provide a couple of goals.

    Agree with this

Bain over Barkas is just a given

Ralston ain't better than Uroghide/O'Connor, refuse to accept he is which is currently a baffling decision by Ange to start Ralston ahead of them

Same goes for Hjelde over Murray, Hjelde as you say got some first team football at Ross County last season, Murray only has one game against Midtjylland last week, did okay but gave away possession a couple times and then against West Ham had a bit of a nightmare, Hjelde ahead of him makes most sense to me.

His options are tweedle * (Bain) and tweedle * (Barkas)

Bain is the slightly better option

In a matter of a week, the Danish coach has gone from describing his team as “underdogs” to “expecting to win” this tie, despite no changes in the Celtic personnel.

    He sounds unhinged.
