    How frustrating is it watching that game knowing if we had brought in a full back and a CB or even a goalkeeper we would’ve won comfortably.

    Thought the opposition were nothing special, this game was very winable if our preperation had been done correctly, but as usual we are taking an age to sign players, so much time has been wasted as the Board once again gamble and risk blowing a potential 30-40 mil injection of CL revenue, it truly is an incredible level of incompetence.

    Even though I’m encouraged by what I saw, we lack so many components of a good team.

    It’s actually commendable he managed to put that together after so little time with the personnel available.

    Short, sweet, decent post match interview.

    We know early on he rather not focus on belittling players, but think he acknowledges enough that the red card was daft from Bitton view and instead of dwelling on Barkas he was quick to praise the two young defenders.

    I imagine he will go through Barkas and Bitton behind the scenes though in his own way.

    Getting Taylor to roll into midfield with Calmac pulling out wide, when he had 11 on the pitch was enough to convince me he knows what he’s doing tactically. And unquestionably is a 100% upgrade on Lennon’s prehistoric preparation for the team last season.

    That said, still can’t believe the state Lawell decimated the squad over the past 3 seasons.
