1. DD is not the Owner. He is not even the majority shareholder. As of may this year he owns about 38%, giving him control of the single biggest slice of the pie so to speak and which gives him significant say, but that is a far cry from being either the majority shareholder or the Owner.

2. The last time I can think of Desmond sticking his hand in his pocket that deep for a player was for Robbie Keane more than a decade ago, and that was for a loan that only lasted 4 months. The most recent instance where he had gotten personally involved was when was getting Rodgers to come to Celtic after that Scottish Cup SF loss on penalties to Sevco... and that was only because the Sevco directors were giving the big one to him after the match.

3. So the author of the source has no idea about Celtic, about how things work here, but has just written that to sell copy. Linking FF with us for a third time is an easy thing to do, but it is likely that this has more to do with trying to convey message to Southampton, their fans and any & all other clubs down south to alert them that Southampton are open for business when it comes to getting FF off their books.

In my opinion, it is purely a cynical fiction, that we (Celtic) are being invoked as a catalyst for that and nothing more.

But that all said, if FF was to return... yes please!

Don’t see why Ange would be that keen on him. If he wants his keeper to be comfortable with the ball and play high up the pitch. Forster isn’t that type of keeper at all.

Anybody who doesn't want him back because he didn't join last year is mental. He was ace the season before and let's be honest we would have done far better with him last season.

 

Hes like that time you was a teenager. You had that top notch bird who always wanted herself someone better but nae * wanted her permanently even tho she was a naughty one. So she would keep coming back for a we shot of you but never had any commitment. You never complained because she was great fun n you've not found a replacement yourself and its better than palm n her 5 pals yet but deep down it still left you a bit hurt she would leave you for a college boy all the time

Nah, time for us to get a settled keeper in. I’m desperate for Barkas to succeed, really am. Bring in another GK to challenge for no.1 because Bain just won’t do.
