Well at least he now knows how poor this squad is and i doubt he will willingly using many of them this coming season.

 

The fact our board seemingly don't feel the rebuild is that night a job is concerning. Or it's more concerning that they are happy to throw the dice and play it out and see what happens in 2-3 years time.
We need a good 6 players in still and that is not including the ones who have signed or are potentially signing.

Not too concerned about europe at the moment and more will we be ready for the league starting

 

And this is the problem. We have a board that just won't finance the rebuild that a high-press, possession-based system would require. Postecoglou walked into a trap.

 

I genuinely wonder if he regrets giving Ralston a new deal if he hadn't (if it even was his choice) I imagine we would have a new RB in by now

I like his honesty. No crap talk from Ange. He knows what we need going forward. I feel he knows inside that Europe is a NO this season. League is his number 1 target due to not having the squad in yet

I could go on and on. We're 100% in trouble and he knows it. It's written all over his face and with the answer's he's giving..

I feel proper bad for him if truth be told and I'm praying that he can wave some kinda magic wand and get us off to a flier. If no, we're * this year..

Friendlies mean very little, I’ve always said that and I’ll stick by it. The worry for me is though, that us playing out from the back is clearly something he is trying to implement. Now I don’t have an issue with us doing it, because I like to watch a team doing it well, however, we simply don’t have the players to do it. If we try it on Tuesday I think we will get ourselves into a lot of bother.

We badly need a striker if Edouard goes as well. Ajeti just isn’t going to cut it. That much is obvious. Right back needs sorted pronto. The rebuild is huge.

 

This rebuild could take 3 maybe 4 windows to get the right bodies in and the deadwood out.

Our current fullbacks are miles aff it for his system.

He can switch to a 3-4-3, with Forrest at RM. Or use O'Connor for now in a 4-3-3. But yes, he needs time he won't be given. By the fans, and then- the board. The board ultimately sack unpopular managers.

 

I think you’re being extremely pessimistic.

We have at least 3 first teamers coming back to full fitness. 4 new signings trying to bed in, one or two new signings incoming and a few guys in the pre-season team(s) getting up to match speed.

Like I say, I’ve seen better teams struggle worse than this against worse teams in pre-season.

Is it ideal? Absolutely not. Is it as bad as being made out? Not at all…

 

Feel sorry for this guy having to work under these thieves .

 

No way should it take that long mate. It's completely unacceptable if we don't get 90% of the way there in this window. There's absolutely no excuse.

Our recruitment is abysmal if we can't identify the players we need and get them in.

We've had time to scout out targets. We've got money, let's get it done.

 

I think some people are forgetting we are just a few days away from a crucial Champions League qualifier, not a few weeks away.
