There is a full investigation going on so jury still out whether he is guilty or not, maybe fake or set up . However Griff has brought this upon himself, The Club have sent him home, that is enough to ask questions. At the very least he has prob broken one of the conditions set out about him getting a years contract, ditching his social media activities. There is no doubt ,on form, Griffiths is a goal scorer, but he has again let the Club down before the season has started leaving us in a position of only having 2 forwards, Ajeti and Eddy. Having been sent home and out of pre season training Griffiths wouldn't be ready for the CL game, making himself unavailable through his own stupidity is reason enough to tear up his contract.

 

Have a look at young Moffy. His Instagram is set on private and on Twitter he only retweets the club or other people involved in the club.

The wee lad has his head more screwed on then a father of five in his 30's regarding social media.

 

the lack of urgency is staggering but if some * is watching a dodgy stream that will be dealt with in an instant.they will probably do nothing about griffiths and hope everyone forgets

 

The Club will wait for the Police report before acting even though they will be carrying out their own investigation. Also if he is guilty then the Club will be seeking legal.advice before terminating his contract.

I remember reading something about "morality clauses" in American contracts, I'm not sure if that is a thing here. I think a lot of the sport stars and celebrities have them when representing sponsors as a release if they do anything that would tarnish a company's name.

 

I understand that the clubs hands are tied until it's fully investigated by police Scotland but if it comes through as genuine then he simply has to go.

Sorry but that new revelation sounds like a load of get me in the papers pish. There she is on the front page with lips n * sticking out. Why would he film her secretly for another person? Leigh when fit and on form is the best in the SPL, no question. However we all know that 2 lockdowns would not have helped his mental health in the slightest. We all know that Leigh has issues and should have been given full professional assessments to address these issues to support Leigh - perhaps that has been done but we do not really know for sure.

He seems like a man who feels lost just now and whether guilty or not there will be reasons for his behaviour which Leigh perhaps is unable to control due to his mental state. My worry is that the club abandon him and then he has nothing which could make matters significantly worse for our Leigh.

I am not condoning what he has allegedly done BUT he is one of us and he should have the support of the club and the fans rather than being binned like a piece of garbage.

If it turns out to be pish and all charges are dropped then I expect the club so stand by him. You are innocent until proven guilty. Unfortunately for leigh it's looking pretty damming and he's looking guiltier as the days go on. However until the courts look into it and evidenced looked at its speculation.

As a poster above me said regardless whether the allegations are true or not "our" leigh has once again left us up * creek before a balls even been kicked for whatever reasons.
