I think that the modern footballer ie the 16-20 year olds should still be in education like a tradesman is and that clubs have a responsibility to make sure that they continue their education it should be part of their day like a college and part of the curriculum should be social media and how to conduct themselves.

Any serious club, or organisation of any type, would have punted him years ago.

 

I think in the last 10 years lots of clubs keep them fairly well educated up to 18 as your actual chances of making it are not great or you could get injured young.

Jaysus. Your man is criticizing a culture that he has experienced amoung Celtic players of pestering women, cheating, and engaging in inappropriate behavior.

If there is a childish and dangerous culture at the club of players thinking they can do what they want then you only enable behaviour like Griffiths (or at least do little to stop it). Btw, I can't stand over any of what your man has said, but I think his point is a clear one.
