Want to see the Italians summon decades of shithousing on Sunday….defend a 1-0 from the first half, agitate the fans and get inside the heads of the English defence.

Roy Keane hardly provided an alternative opinion from the English bias last night. He was singing the praises of Southgate and the team any chance he could, and hardly criticising that penalty decision. Seems happy not to rock the boat nowadays so he gets invited back.

 

Few of my mates down here I don't begrudge them enjoying it, support the likes of Newcastle, palace, QPR - poor * have never known football success... Still unbearable to be around though

 

But it could have been Belgium and Spain like Italy had.

I do think Italy will struggle with sterling's pace, well what team doesn't. However they are just as good at theatrics so half the game will be spent with the whistle going off and both teams rolling around like *'s. If Italy score first theyll shut England out. Itll be a good game. Hoping for a mental high scoring frenzy that goes all the way to penalties.

 

England are yet to face a squad like in a vein of form like Italy.

Denmark was a fairytale, battling through, what normally would have been a competition ender for any other nation.

Germany and Croatia have been rancid all competition bar 1 performance against Portugal and Spain respectively, what England beat was the name only.

Italy are better defensively than Denmark or Scotland, two teams who for the most part snuffed out danger well enough.

What will be interesting to see is the shithousery by Insigne and/or immobile against Elbows Maguire.

I can see Italy dispatching England in as comfortable fashion as they did Belgium, nothing amazing like a high scoring win by 3 or 4, but just a coasting 1-0 wherr they controlled the game throughout and despite England having some decent chances Italy were never really threatened

 

That revisionism. Germany was the side that destroyed 5th in the world Portugal, Croatia was the side that scored 3 against Spain, Czech was the side that eliminated the netherlands. Denmark were arguably one of the favourites with the way they had been playing, you can’t really count the Finland loss after what had happened and the Belgium loss was very tight. After that I saw plenty of people outside of England predict that they would knock England out.

People can try and discredit it because it’s England but beating Croatia, Czech, Germany, Ukraine and Denmark whilst only conceding 1 goal in total is a brilliant achievement for any side

 

It's an easier run. That's the facts..
