I could see the board treating Ange like Deila then he gets sacked and then Strachan steps in, no thanks

When we get lumped in with rumours of players along with the Huns, that's the obvious lazy journalism.

But when we tend to get these completely random leaks, these tend more often than not to be the stuff the club leaks out to it's go to media sources.

Hopefully this never happens, but honestly this has the feelings of actually being a real rumour.
Even if it's just that his name was mentioned in a meeting between the board.

I'm not sure it's true, we always get linked with this guy. Just your usual Daily Ranger and Sunday Hun story.

 

I always remember at a Scotland presser when Strachan totally dismissed some questions from fans that were put forward by the BBC. Pretty much said that he wasn't there to answer questions from the supporters and that it wasn't Clyde 1 Superscoreboard. I really thought that gave an insight into how he truly views the supporters. Such an arrogance about him that I would like to avoid.

 

The problem Strachan getting the job means Strachan junior is getting kept on and going no where and which also means Kennedy getting kept on as well.
The club is getting run like a * * club and getting run by * amateurs .
The new CEO doesn't look like he has a set of balls and just a yes man and this is a Desmond appointment and he doesn't seem to give a * about the club or the support thinks .

Thank * this was bullshit. Anyone could see that WGS would have been a disaster from a PR point of view as well as a footballing.

We need a safe pair of hands that's professional and modern. I thank WGS for what he achieved but that's in the past now

 

Glad this has been dismissed as nonsense as it’s not a WGS type we need for this role.

The main attributes we need for the DoF is someone who can work with a manager who can say I need attacking full backs and they can go away work the scouting team and identify proper options that come in and fit.

Also someone who can map a pathway for young players from academy to first team and use the loan market appropriately as part of this developing relationships with other clubs etc. They can work with the manager to get all teams at the club playing the way the first team does so that players performances and experiences are relevant to getting to the first team.

WGS didn’t really do either of these things as a manager. We didn’t bring young players through, we often signed players from domestic markets who were established players in their late twenties.

This contacts in the game, I actually doubt he has that many anymore as other than the role at Dundee, he was the National manager before that and has not had a club team for about a decade. I would say he would be as bad an appointment as DoF as Keane would have been as manager.

 

I don't even give a * any more. Just get someone in and get started.
